No surfaces ruined by hot products (yet)
Bought this for our tween granddaughter. When she visits she has her own designated bedroom but has to share a bathroom with her cousins/aunts/uncles so she was using her products in her bedroom. I had concerns that her curling iron, for example, would ruin the finish on her desk, melt carpet, etc. but this mat seems to be protecting everything. Also, she doesn't have to worry about it being completely cooled off before packing when it's time to leave. Well worth the money!

Works perfect! I'm always on the go so it's nice to be able to just unplug, put it in the pouch and not have to worry about it being too hot! I highly recommend!
