I purchased the classic and struggled for a while. After a few uses I got used to it and liked it. After 2 weeks, the flex came out. It's perfect for me. I love the length of the wand/barrel and the curved plates. It's exactly what was missing from the classic.

I have thick hair. I love the Le duo flex. gives me enough lift, curl & straightening if I choose. I have the styling brush with 3 interchangeable heads too! But the Le Flex is my favorite. I'm very picky because my hair is course & almost nothing has worked until now. I've finally found something in my older age. My hair always curled & stayed for days with heated rollers but the results gives me too many curls. But now I have a great curling iron & straightener that gives body but not to the extreme like the rollers.

Ordered and received the Le Duo Flex in timely manner. Packaging was in tact actually quite attractive. I have fine hair and found that the clamp was not tight enough to hold hair. The Flex is well made as is all L'ange products but would advise this particular product is best for normal to thick hair.

I am a black female with relaxed hair. So far, I really like this product. I don't use it everyday to avoid getting heat damage, but I really appreciate the low heat settings. I used the 320 degree setting and it worked better than expected. I have not had any issues with this product snagging the ends of my hair like I have with one of the dupes on the market. Although I have not seen any videos of this product used as a straightener, it definitely does that as well as curl the hair. I gave it 4 stars because I haven't had it long enough to give my true thoughts. But so far so good.

L'ange will always be my favorite brand for curling tools. The Flex still gives great curls'"though I almost feel like the "tight" setting gave me looser curls, and the "loose" setting gave me tighter ones! Either way, the curls looked great. Two downsides to the Flex are the high-pitched fan noise and the occasional finger burns. With the Classic, you can touch it anywhere'"it's super safe, especially for someone just learning how to curl their hair. I have the Classic Duo and Classic Grande, and the fans on both of those are much quieter'"more of a soft hum. The Flex has a noticeably high-pitched sound in comparison. Still, I highly recommend any of these tools!

I bought this but not happy with it, my hair does not glide easily on either of the curl settings & I'm afraid I'll burn it. I waited too long & now my return window ended 😞. . . I love my Le Duo Classic but I'm not sure how much longer it'll last. . . I wish I could just exchange it for the Le Duo Flex. . .

I was so excited to recieve this after reading reviews and a friend of mine ranting about this tool and how versatile it was as to curl and straighten. So I bought one a few months ago and I've noticed ever since I've switched hair tools my hair is extremely frizzy after each use and becoming more damaged. Much more breakage after using this tool. I have older tools from L'ange and it's never been this damaging to my hair.

I have many many L'ange tools (over 20), including the Le Duo OG and the OG Grande. The Le Duo Flex is the only one that I regret buying. It catches the hair and gets caught with every pass leading yanked hairs and frustration! I have ordered the new Le Duo Edge and am hoping for better results. I love L'ange but wish I could get a refund for the Flex. :(

This is my 4th Lange tool. I usually have no issues, but I deeply regret giving my daughter my original Le Duo. I figured I only used it for curls, not straightening, but this just is not it. For some reason this tool snags my hair and gives me crimp-like curls. The original version never did that and gave me great curls. This tool is a complete no for me. Wish I didn't wait so long to use it so I could send it back. Now it is just going to collect dust and I will find something else to curl my hair with.

I have bought multiple tools from L'ange and loved them all. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with this tool. When it came to clamping my hair between the plates there just wasn't enough pressure between the clamps to hold my hair in properly. Every time I would go in for the curl, my hair would just slide right out. The little bit of curl I was able to achieve didn't hold and my frizz was worse. I ended up returning.
