These are high quality very well-made plate stands. The 4 pack was great deal! Looks great displaying my vintage carnival glass plates.

I have several sizes and styles of plate stands - these are a great addition! I love that these have little hook-like "arms" that come up around the bottom front of the object to keep it from jumping off the stand (unlike some others I have that are flimsier and armless). These seem quite strong too. The angle of the stand is just right to read something and the arms also keep unruly cookbook pages in place. Keep in mind that if you want to use the stand to just display a closed book, it will only hold a somewhat thin volume, but if the book is open the stand can accommodate a thicker book. I successfully tried the stands with all sorts of things - a pretty hefty platter, a Kindle, a framed photo that didn't have a stand, books, etc. And you get 4 - overall, excellent!

The stands are very sturdy and can take a lot of weight. I put a platter on mine for display that my grandson made for me. I'm also taking someone into the library where I work to hold books to put on display. Would definitely recommend.

For the value, these were perfect for our need. They were able to support medium and larger size photos that included frames.
