as a first time mom, this breastfeeding kit has been a LIFE SAVER. the nipple cream is to die for, the nursing pads are the only ones that actually hold in the milk especially since i'm an over supplier, the bags don't rip or explode in the freezer and don't even get me started on the compresses. I'm OBSESSED with this kit. I've recommended it to all of my breastfeeding mommas!!

The Lansinoh Breastfeeding Essentials box is a fantastic present or starter kit for any nursing moms. My wife thinks it is particularly helpful for a first time mom during the first week after birth. Those TheraPearl packs would have been a life saver if we had a brand new, newborn. She really liked that it is perfect for a nursing mom to start building up a freezer stash of milk with the use of the silicone breast pump. While the cap can be a little tricky to get on, it's super helpful to be able to put the pump down and not worry about you or baby accidentally knocking it over before you have a chance to transfer it to the breastmilk storage bag. The pump strap was awesome, baby boy kicked the pump off and the strap kept it from splashing to the floor. My wife tended to use it a lot and also when she was pumping. The nipple cream is travel size and easy to slip into a purse, pocket, or diaper bag. It was helpful on days when she was sore but still had to feed and wanted to use the pump. The disposable pads were a life saver. They were very absorbent but did not clump up or feel damp against the breast. The pads are comfortable and were of good quality, not itchy. 

Box was damaged when we opened the package. The seal was also broken.
