I had a section a week ago can't wait to be able to use these next week. Great idea to aid the healing of the wound and stop friction off clothes ect

Good product that gave relief to my scar from itching and support whilst recovering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a second time C-section momma. After receiving this from a Stellar Product Testing, I wish I had these my first go around! Due to my first delivery being an emergent one, I was ill informed on what I needed to do to help heal my scar. These recovery pads are just what mommas need to help feel better as our scar heals. The protective silicone felt great on my skin and allowed me to feel more supported and protected as I transitioned back into my pre pregnancy clothes again. I noticed when wearing these I was more confined knowing it would minimize friction and rubbing against my incision. Allowing me to move more freely. I did notice that the pad had a cooling effect and that was a nice touch as my scar healed, especially when the postpartum hormones were raging and I felt hot all the time. Didn't need to use ice packs to feel cool around my incision, was a nice touch. I do think the more I wear these the better my scar heals. I will be repurchasing these to continually use and provide them as gifts for fellow C-section mommas out there. I'm so glad there's something like this that exists and allows me to be more in touch and proud of the scar that safely brough my baby into this world.

I felt so protected and knew my incision was going to stay dry and not rub against my underwear. While I did receive this product as being a part of the stellar product testing panel, these are my true opinions. I would recommend these to any mom that has a C-section. PS it's amazing if you put it in the fridge before you put it on your skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a repeat C section, I wish I had these the first time around. These made it so I couldn't even feel my incision. There was absolutely no rubbing or friction and it was immediately cooling. I would buy these for anyone having a C-section and wish I know about them sooner. I've tried the silicone lined underwear and did not like it but it at all whereas the patches made it feel like pre-pregnancy!

I'm a third time c-section mama and I know the pains that come from delivering babies via c-section. I've used soothies breast feeding pads before and loved the relief they gave me. But these c-section recovery pads are wonderful! It really help me sooth the c-section burn and enjoy those early days with my baby! I definitely recommend trying them out!

I learned I was going to have a second C section, so I desperately looked for anything to help speed my recovery along. Luckily, the Stellar Panel provided me with the Lansinoh C Section Recovery Pads to test and review in exchange for my honest, unbiased feedback. As a background, the Soothies C Section Recovery pads were created to protect C Sections while they heal. The package includes four sterile Hydrogel Pads, which helps promote cooling and healing to the C Section surgery wound. I am currently two and a half weeks post C section and have been using these pads intermittently since I was ten days postpartum. My first day using the pads, I initially thought they were way too sticky to put on my newly healed incision and took them off that night. However, I decided to give the pads a shot again two days later and I'm glad I did. Turns out, I really like wearing the recovery pads. The pads truly are cooling by nature and I did not even have to put them in the fridge, which was an option suggested by Lansinoh. The most important feature, for me at least, was how the pads became a protection against the elements for my very sensitive scar. The pads were able to shield me from the friction of my clothing rubbing against the scar, which was my biggest issue during the first C section. They also made my stomach feel more "put together" after the surgery, which admittedly is a hard feat after getting staples out after a second C section. Overall, I would suggest trying these pads as a way to make a daunting C section recovery slightly easier.

This was my second C-section and I gave these a try 11 days post surgery. My external wound was 99% closed and I didn't have any external stitches. The pad that goes over your incision is somewhat sticky so I would advise to wait until you have no external scabs or wounds before using this. It was a bit uncomfortable to remove as it pulls. The cooling sensation lasts about an hour which did feel nice especially on the itchy healing skin. It did help with preventing any rubbing sensation from clothing. I think these would be great to use further on in your recovery for scar desensitizing more than a healing aid right after surgery.

I didn't get what I ordered. What came instead was foundation. Nothing to do with c-section care what so ever.

Please do not use these pads. As stated on the pack, I used this after my dressing was removed and within 5 minutes of it being on my wound had swollen and is still swollen weeks later. It also made it red and painful. I don't know how this is allowed to be used as I have now seen similar experiences on other website reviews! This product is terrible and has really set back my recovery!
