Lansinoh Smartpump 3.0 Double Electric Breast Pump

I used this to replace my 2.0 which apparently just decided it didnt want to work after 2 years of pumping for me. It works great and took my supply from almost gone to going on oversupply! Love, love, love!

Background/Usage: I'm an exclusive pumper, pumping 6 times a day for 30 minutes each session. For my first child, I successfully used a Lansinoh 2.0 smart pump for my entire exclusive pumping journey. Therefore, for my second child, I chose the Lansinoh 2.0 smart pump again. I wish the 3.0 was available when I ordered my pump! The rechargeable feature is incredibly convenient; I don't know how I managed without it for my first child. I use the pump on its pre-set settings, although it's easy to change. Let-down mode: suction level 5. Expression mode: suction level 3. I haven't tested how a higher or lower suction level would affect the battery usage. Here's a comparison between the 2.0 and 3.0 pumps: 2.0 pump: - has compartment for 6 AA batteries. Only good for a few 30 minute pump sessions. This is a costly way to stay mobile, so I rarely went on battery power. - After a few pump sessions on battery power, the suction power noticeably decreases. - pump turns off when switching between AC power and battery power - the power button just powers the pump on or off, there is no "pause" button - white and light purple color (fun fact) 3.0 pump: - rechargeable battery already installed. Just need to charge it for 3 hours prior to first use - I recharge the pump after every 30 minute battery-powered session. I have not noticed a difference in suction when I'm on AC power vs the rechargeable battery. (We'll see if this changes over time--I've only used this pump for a few sessions so far.) - pump seamlessly switches between AC power and rechargeable battery pack; the pump stays on and pumping as if nothing happened - power button is used to turn the pump on/off and to pause the session. When I'm done with a session and hit the power button, the pump stops pumping, but the session time stays on the display - white and royal purple color (fun fact; allows me to easily differentiate between my 2.0 and 3.0 pumps) The 2.0 and 3.0 pumps appear the same in these areas: - noise level (quiet) - size and shape (love the handle!) - generous AC adapter cord length - generous tubing length - extra pump parts (duck bill valves, etc) - 3 pumping "styles" to mimic different baby sucking patterns - let-down mode button - back-lit display (back-light only activated once a button is pushed) - pump parts are interchangeable between 2.0 and 3.0 pumps (additional/extra pump parts are easy to find online! I bought all my through Amazon and Walmart, but I ordered duckbill valves directly from Lansinoh; I couldn't find the genuine Lansinoh duckbill valves by themselves anywhere else.)

Love the 3.0, an upgrade on the 2.0 I had. Works just the same, love that it's rechargeable. No more swapping out batteries all the time! Yay! Always charged and ready to take with me to work. Wish it came with a travel bag like the 2.0 did, thankfully I held on to that. At least comes with the cooler bag and ice pack. Only thing I don't like with Lansinoh is that you can't buy the 25mm flanges by themselves, only the other sizes. They only come stock with another item, like the pump or replacement pump set. Can't buy just that size flange. Still a great pump though, very efficient and comfortable to use! My 2.0 held on for almost 2 years of constant use before it stopped working, so will have to see how long this one makes it! lol 😁 2½ months in so far with my second baby

I want to start out by saying, I had no idea Lansinoh made anything other than breastmilk bags, until Stellar Product Testing Panel reached out to see if I would be interested in receiving this breast pump. Prior to receiving this pump, I'd been using another brand I had bought 7 years ago when my first baby was born and I hated every second of pumping. This meant that I never got to leave my baby with anyone for more than an hour or two because I never had more than 1 bag of milk in the freezer at a time. The flange never seemed to have a good seal and I was never able to get very many ounces out of a pumping session. After just one quick 10 minute pump with my Lansinoh Smartpump 3.0., I had over 8 ounces of milk. I was shocked! The flanges are SO comfortable - so grateful it arrived with 3 different sizes because I was definitely using the wrong size with my last pump. The pump itself is so tiny, lightweight, and portable - I love being able to pump while watching a show, without breaking my back trying to find the plug in behind the couch and I know if I do go on a trip, I will love how compact everything packs up to conveniently pump while traveling. The app is super easy to use and I absolutely love being able to customize everything to fit what feels right. I just wish I had switched brands sooner. I received this breast pump for free from Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a 2nd time mom, this pump was a great option for pumping. I was able to pump through eight 20 minute pumping sessions and still had 1/4 battery left. The fact that is came with multiple sized flanges was great because I use two different sizes. I love that the let down mode automatically changes to expression after two minutes when you start or when you change it back to let down mid pump. With my first baby, I'd constantly forget to change the mode. I wish that it had some with a carrying case, but based on research, it looks pretty similar to the 2.0 version, so I'm sure I could purchase one that would fit. I originally downloaded the wrong app and got very frustrated when I could not get the pump to connect to it. Once I resolved that issue, I had no issues and the pumped paired right away. However I did not realize I'd have to have the app open for it to connect each time and I often forgot and so I did not record most sessions. This feature was not super important to me since I didn't have a lot of need for it. However if I was alternating pumping on each side, it may have come in handy. It was easy to carry if I needed to get up and do something like let the dogs in. However, it would not be easy to maneuver around if I was actually trying to get a chore done since there is no way to carry it besides in your hand. So multi-tasking is still limited. Overall, I really liked the suction level options and the overall size of the pump.

The lansano 3.0 pump works fantastic. I love that it's rechargeable and you don't have to have it plugged into a wall the entire time you're using it. One thing I do wish is that the cords were longer so you could move further away from the pump. If I'm doing something in the kitchen going from counter to counter I have to carry the pump with me. The pump is a little heavy so I'm not sure if there was a wearable option that it would be comfortable to wear with a strap. But I would be willing to try something out if that meant that I could move around more freely. I enjoy using it around the house especially while in the kitchen. It is extremely easy to pair, you hold down the power button and the numbers pop up and you type the numbers into your phone and it's done. It works flawlessly with the app. It is great at keeping track of the amount of time you pump and it's so nice being able to keep track of each session and which breast I pump and also the amount of ounces I got each and every time. I do find the phalanges to be comfortable I like that it has the silicone edging. Helps it fit more tightly and I feel like it helps seal better. The suction is great I love how many options there are it's nice having multiple levels. It is more comparable to the hospital grade pump that I have used in the past. It's nice that it has an auto feature I personally don't use the auto feature and like to adjust the pump manually. I absolutely love that you can adjust the pump levels within the app. It's so easy to do! I do wish the pump flanges included a 17 mm as that is a very common size amongst women. It's nice that it does include instructions on how to properly size yourself for the correct flange. It's great having the options to size up or down. Overall it's a great pump and I look forward to using it more. I feel that pump reviews should be thorough and true especially considering a pump can make or break your experience. I received this breast pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Thank you Stellar Panel because it is my new go to pump. I love the size of this pump, the comfort flanges, and the portability that comes with the rechargeable battery. With an infant, my travel bag is typically quite full. This pump easily fits into a smaller bag and is lightweight. The comfort flanges create a strong yet comfortable suction and I am able to tuck this pump into my regular nursing bra to go hands free opposed to needing the addition of a pumping bra. This makes a big difference for me and helps pumping seem a little less daunting. The suction does decrease some as the collection bottles become full. One downside of the comfort flanges is that milk tends to pool a little bit in the edges of the flange when I remove them. Knowing this, I always have a cloth with me to assist with cleaning after pumping. I have not noticed any difference in suction with the pump plugged in versus running on the rechargeable battery. I can get several pumps in before having to recharge. The pump comes with a let down button, 3 different pump styles, and 8 different suction levels. This allowed me to find a setting that really worked for me and auto memory kept the settings for when I set up to pump next. When I first started my pumping journey I didn't know what flange size worked best for me. I loved that this pump came with 3 sizing options to also improve pumping efficiency. There is a plug included for single side pumping. I will say that the plug seems low quality, and I question if it will break after more extensive use. In addition to many of the great features described above, this pump is able to connect to the Lansinoh baby app. You can use the app to track pumping time, output, and set-up pumping reminders. A nice extra feature to have!

I was given this pump to try as part of the Stellar Testing panel. Throughout both of my breastfeeding journeys, I have only used one pump and brand, so I was excited to see how a different brand and type compares. The pump arrived packaged with several extra things, that typically would have to be purchased separately. Thoughtfully included are 3 different size flanges, with instructions on which size to choose. This is helpful because the incorrect flange size can reduce output and make it seem like pump isn't working well, the correct flange size makes a big difference. The flanges have a soft rim detail around them which makes it comfortable against your skin and also prevents movement of the flange which frequently happened to me with my other pump flange that didn't have this detail. Also included is a small black insulated milk bag with a reusable cool pack. I like that the pump is rechargeable, cord free and small. I was able to easily move around my home running after my toddler and wash dishes, cook, clean - while pumping! I am going on a trip in the next week and will be bringing this pump, mainly because it's cord free and is a discreet size. The black bag fits all the essentials needed as shown in the photo. A cool feature of this pump is customizing the expression mode. There are three different styles to mimic how your baby feeds. I immediately noticed the familiar sensation of option 3, as how my baby fed, and also noticed this produced the most output when I used this pump. Overall would recommend this pump and am excited to have this pump to use during travel and when I need to be extra mobile around the house.

Works pretty good, easy to work/clean/ put together. I've not used any other pump to compare it to besides a hand pump and I do get better output with a hand pump than this.

The pump itself was simple to initially set up and charges quickly. Thanks to its size and shape, I'm able hang it on a belt so I can pump and be mobile at the same time. It's been a game changer for me getting things done around my house. The pump comes with flanges in 3 different sizes, but the smallest size provided is still a bit too big for my nipples. Because of the pump's portability, it has become my go to pump to take to work. My job is customer facing, and the flanges and bottles are not discreet, so I do still have to find a private place to pump and I cannot pump while working. The pump is fantastic for initiating milk letdown, and has settings with very strong suction. I really like that it does not automatically shut off after 30 minutes, as many pumps do, as I generally need to pump for about 45 minutes to fully express all of my milk. The expression functions however have limited options compared to my primary pump, and so I don't seem to express quite as much milk as a result. After using the Lansinoh pump as my primary pump for a day, I ended up with a blocked milk duct, which is rare for me. It's also worth mentioning that the app that the pump connects to via Bluetooth is a great multi-tool when it's working correctly, but it hasn't worked consistently for me. I had to turn the notifications off from the app on my phone, because the app kept sending me messages about pumping sessions I had completed, when I hadn't even pumped. I've definitely enjoyed the mobility I've had using this pump, but it doesn't quite have the functionality to outright replace my primary pump.
