Lao Gan Ma Fried Chili Oil, 9.7 oz

Someone in my office got my family hooked on this stuff. Another store that usually carries it was out of stock and couldn't tell me when they would receive more so I can to purchase from Walmart or my son would be very unhappy :) We add it to rice for sure, but we have added it to other food and it's always soooo good.

Like someone else said, it is very addictive! The fried chili peppers in oil has an excellent flavor, but it's not so hot that it burns your mouth. As a bonus there are some peanuts in the mix to give it a little different texture and taste. I've always loved the fried chili in oil at the restaurants and the Lao Gan Ma brand is every bit as good, if not better, than what I've had before! It is great on rice and asian dishes of course, but I've also used it instead of plain oil before cooking other dishes. I've even been known to spoon a little onto a piece of bread or a chip! Yes, it's that good!

This must be the best hot pepper sauce I have ever tasted. Must order more. Absolutely recommend this to friends who love hot stuff. Will taste other products under the same brand.

As has been my experience with Walmart, the pricing was right, the web interface was easy and the shipping was quick. The product is a family favorite so we were happy to see that Walmart carried it.

This chili oil has a flavor I've not experienced before. It's very aromatic and makes your tastebuds sing. I'd say the heat is less than a jalapeño and there is a slight numbing to the tongue af if there were a few sichon peppercorns in there. It's very addictive, you'll find you want to add it to everything. Here is a pic of ramen I made and some chicken I mixed it into BBQ sauce.
