Laoban Ready-to-Eat Beef Soup Dumplings, Frozen 6 oz Carton

These are more authentic than others I've tried. ‘Laoban' means boss in Mandarin. I like these in soup or just steamed as a side dish. Add a little chili crisp oil (like LaoGanma) regular or spicy for a flavor burst, or peanut sauce, curry sauce, even bbq sauce.

I like the burst of soup you get in each bite. I really enjoyed these and will probably purchase again.

Their microwave soup dumplings are easy to prepare and I liked the dumplings had soup inside. I did notice that one of my dumpling skins leaked but the others were fine. They are a bit pricey a regular price but I would purchase these again if they go on sale.

This was so conveneient and I didn't feel like my health was compromised. You can also dress it up however you like--I used cilantro, green onion, and sriracha.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I pan fried the Lauban beef soup dumplings. Other than a few sticking to the pan, they were easy enough to prepare. Good flavor. I think including two more pieces and a sauce packet would be nice.

Waiting to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally for soup dumplings, the filling is fairly solid which helps bring focus to the soup, but the texture of the ground pork was oddly gritty and mixed with the soup so it wasn't what I expected at all.
