LapGear Elevation Lap Desk with Adjustable Cushion, White Marble

After a lot of searching, I pulled the trigger on purchasing this lap desk. It was on sale and I was curious how the cushion would differ from the filled version I had prior. Feels solid in my lap. The ability to fold back a cushion to raise it is a really nice bonus. The elastic band in the corner has been a useful tool too. I can slip my iPhone under there and it stays in place. The “phone holder” at the top right works fine, but there's often too much kid movement around to feel like it's a reliable option. The lip on the desk is solid and (in my opinion) a must. Keeps whatever you're using in place. It being a short length is beneficial in that it doesn't eat into your arms while typing, writing, reading. I have a 16” computer and this lap desk accommodates it well. Very happy with the purchase. Would recommend.

Using this with a 15.6" laptop, I have around 5 1/2" left on the side for a mouse, when I want to use one. The ledge at the bottom still keeps my laptop from sliding down, even if it is not centered on the board. You could also use that space for a small pad of paper to take notes, and keep a pen in the phone slot. What sets this apart from other lap desks is the option of raising the back to create a more comfortable angle for working, even when not using a laptop. It is easy to carry and appears to be well-made, so overall a good purchase.

as someone who sets up and studies / works in just about any place (ground, couch, bed, or jumbo-sized snorlax chair) but hates conventional desks or tables - this is perfect. my laptop doesn't leave this thing. i also have other ones but the bottom of this one is the best since it is like memory foam and doesn't squish around and end up lopsided if my laptop is too far to one side. it doesn't have a cup holder but the area for pencils is a good size in depth so i end up putting a lot in there.

I use a 17" Dell laptop and it can be heavy to sit on my lap but this lap desk is so lightweight it makes it comfortable on my lap and not add more weight. The handle and elevation boost are great pluses. Cant go wrong with this one.

My husband likes the lap desk when he is laying in bed. I like to use it too when he is not home! Great pillows raise the desk in perfect view for laptop.

I bought this for my college student who likes to do homework while sitting on the bed rather than the uncomfortable desk chair. I have heard no complaints!

Just what I needed to be able to work more comfortably on my laptop - 17 in computer with room for a mouse. Lightweight and easy to store when not in use.

The quality is not what I expected and the built in mouse pad is poor
