LapGear Memory Foam Lap Desk with Cushion and Wrist Rest, Fits 15.6" Laptop, Silver Carbon

I live life in a power wheelchair. Having my laptop sit in my lap for hours at a time was bothering my legs. So I followed my wife's advice and ordered this. It has made a tremendous difference. Now I can have my laptop on my lap for hours without any problems and I also use it as a desktop so I can write in my journal or read a book with it sitting on this. I really like it.

very comfortable and sturdy. exactly what I needed. It works great in the car and on the couch ! I would highly recommend. it does not have extra room for a mouse.

I bought this for my husband because he is into sketching. He needed something to set his sketching pad besides setting it onto the arm of the recliner. He appreciates a lot and forms into his legs and lap.

It's a very nice lap desk. I use the slot on top for stylus storage. Bottom feels good on my lap. I would like it better if the cushion was filled with microbeads (this is a replacement), but I could not find one anywhere. So this is a good compromise. High quality.

It's just the right size for my computer. The wrist pad works very well. It's just the right position. I use it everyday.

Very sturdy, and padding underneath is thick and completely prevents any discomfort while it's sitting on my thighs. It's a bit heavy tho.

This lap desk is used for 2 different laptops. It has great quality and the wrist pad is great. I recommend this product.

Overall, I am happy with this item. I use a laptop that I keep on a portable (Table -Mate) table that also holds the mouse. I use a wireless keyboard on my lap that I prop up on a couple of throw pillows and I bought this to replace the pillows. My only issue is that the memory foam bottom is not as thick as I expected. It measures approximately 1 inch at the front increasing to 1.25 inch in the rear. That means I still have to put a single throw pillow under it but it is still better that what I had. I am tall so this may be a personal matter and it may work for others as it is. I had been looking at this and others and the $20 "flash deal" price finally got me to jump on this. I got the black and it looks very good.

It was my fault for not measuring, but this is a very small lap desk. I bought it to put my keyboard and mouse on at work, but it is too small to accomodate both. In fact, the keyboard hangs over both sides. So whichever I am using more (keyboard or mouse) goes in my lap. I may return for a larger size. However, the quality is good and would be a great desk for a 15 ich (or less) laptop or IPad.

Nicely constructed in general but two negatives need to be mentioned.One, the surface area is too small for any laptop 15.6 inches or larger to fit. Second, the amount of cushioning on the bottom side is too rhin to allow the desk to sit at a proper angle on your lap. Otherwise, it's adequate.
