Laplink PCmover Ultimate v11 includes Ethernet Cable- 1 Use

I loaded the program on both computers and chose the automatic program. I sat back and watched it do it's thing. It completed its job in short order and gave me a report on what it transferred and what it could not which was very little mostly old programs from over 10 years ago. I am totally satisfied and would definitely use this again. Tom H 01201

The software was a little difficult for me to use (I am very low tech), but the telephone tech support was excellent.

Very little written instructions. A lot is left to trial and error. Less time than using thumb drive.

Poor directions, triggered Windows Update that required taking PC offline and restarting. Customer Service chat was pretty useless.. After getting new PC back up- brought most apps, but just a fraction of needed files. Now have to find and copy needed files.

do not like anything. used to plug one machine to the other and make a carbon copy of original machine. Now wifi transfers stop and need to start from scratch constantly! No ethernet connections on skinny new machines so inter cable transfer was impossible. even got a usb adapter that dont work either. Never was able to effect transfer between machines!
