Large Flexible Cover Dotted Journal, Blk (TR54776)

I make this into my planner, record keeper and journal. It's a sacred thing to me. For the first few years I searched and searched for the right notebook and would eventually find something that did the job but it'd be a temporary thing at whatever store I found it at. But I eventually found this and it was perfect and then a year later I see they still carry it so I bought it to replace the full one and will keep replacing it with itself as long as they keep carrying it.

I bought this on a whim in store using my rewards points (so I paid only around a dollar). As an engineering student, I wanted a nice, durable notebook that I could do revisions and homework problems in. This is so perfect! The paper is nice and smooth to write on. They're thin enough to not add bulk to the notebook, but also resists bleed. Dots are light and not distracting. The two ribbon bookmarks are handy for marking where the next clean page is and where you need a quick reference. I absolutely adore the soft yet durable feel of the cover and the useful elastic closure. Like another reviewer said, the spacing of the grids are not up to any particular measurement, so I cannot recommend this if you are using this for scaled work/sketches. Overall, though, I'd highly recommend, even though it is very pricey! I will repurchase when I have enough points again!

The elastic cover keeper is important to me. Though not as spectacular as Fabiano these notebooks have quite good paper that takes ink well. I like the narrow rule but its hard to find in many notebooks. Most offer wide rule and hence less writing area. I always check the spine after buying one and discovering a box cutter slice the length of the spine. I only noticed long after I'd started writing in it but i managed to glue it.

I am a fountain pen enthusiast and I am always on the search for notebooks with the best paper for using fountain pens. TRU RED products offer truly the best paper ever. The ink is absorbed evenly and quickly no bleed through or blotches. I am going to stock up with enough notebooks to last me for several years.

This is the 4th Tru Red large flexible dotted journal that I have used. The quality is good and I like the cream colored paper which is milder on the eye than white. The dots are light color and don't interfere with the flow of work. I used mine as my daily Bullet Journal and project planner. I will continue to purchase this item as long as the quality does not change.

I came across this graph paper journal/notebook and immediately was taken back to grade school. There is something about the grid pattern that has a nice clean aesthetic about it while allowing me the flexibility to jot notes down drawn doodles add other graphic elements. The paper is smooth and takes the ink from pens very well. Love the double ribbon page markers and elastic closure too!

Bought this because I wanted a larger size Bullet Journal which is difficult to find. It's perfect on that front the only downside is that the paper quality is not that great so regular highlighters and PaperMate Flair pens have lots of ghosting. But if that doesn't bug you it's a great option.

Pros: Size look dots Cons: And this is a big one for me the paper is too thin which causes all of my fountain pens regardless of the ink used to bleed through to the other side so that only one side of the paper can be used cutting the amount of usable pages in half. I purchased this specifically to be used with fountain pens. :(

For the price would like to have a more quality outside band. The stretch has already gone out of the notebook and can literally say I have used it 4-5 times. Paper is really great but can tell the rubber stretch band will not last thru end of notebook :( Really wanted to love this :(

fine quality, but the dots don't line up to any actual measurement. They're not in metric and they're not in imperial. So you can't even really use a ruler to do things like floorplans or what not. Other than that, it's great. Why the manufacturer didn't think to actually line the dots up to a ruler is beyond me.
