This large reusable ice pack is great for my back. I have scoliosis and have severe pain in my back and neck and I don't use any medication for it. So I like to use this ice pack off and on during the day and night. It really helps with the pain. Of course it doesn't take away everything but it helps.
This was excellent it took 6 hours to fully freeze for maximum amount of time to freeze and you have to immerse it in water for 8 minutes. But it really worked wonders on my back.
it's plenty big enough for my back and hip. it stays cold quite awhile so I don't have to keep changing to my small ones.
I was slightly disappointed when I realized it's not filled with anything. But what a surprise that I soaked it and the water just stays. after leaving it out for a couple days I can see it's beginning to evaporate but it's the best hot cold pack and the biggest I've bought or seen. hears up beautiful freezes easily and the straps make it easy to wrap my leg and knee and such relief from pain. heating it i just microwaved at 30 second intervals slightly turning it and folding it either in or out in rotation. I believe it was 90 seconds to 2 minutes total and it's a moist heat so it really gets into the skin and to the pain better than even a heating pad. I was so wrong doubting it because of its appearance before soaking it you couldn't get a decent small compress for the price of a giant hot or ice wrap like this it's longer than my back and wide enough for my shoulders. This icepack was the best I ever used in the beginning, but with use, has not been getting or staying as cold.
I don't arrived as promised in a short amount of time. does not last as long as I would like because it is thinner and expected.
