Large Premium Plus Rabbit Hutch

The hutch is a good size for a smaller breed rabbit. My holland mini-lop loves it. The separate, enclosed area made it easy to litterbox train my bun. She loves her hutch. These products are so well made, I'm considering upgrading my bun's home to the townhome! I think she deserves it. Great product, thank you!!!

This rabbit hutch was very easy to assemble, first of all and we also liked the price. We shopped at a local store and their hutch, for the same price, was very flimsy and nothing like the one we ordered here.

The intense preservative odor knocks you out at first, so air it out before putting an animal in it. I don't like cages already, so I only use it when I need to sequester my bunny for other reasons (cleaning the rugs, etc.). [...] The external box was intact but a hole had been punched in the corner of the tray, I think by the leg of one of the side panels (it was about that same size). Hayneedle had the manufacturer ship out a replacement right away, which I appreciated very much. The main problem, bigger than the tray, was that the back was warped, so I had to finagle it together. I had previously put together a medium sized hutch of this brand and it all fit together fine.

Unfortunately my rabbit hutch came with some of the wood cracked where a couple of the screws went in. I will be getting another hutch but the customer service was incredible. Took care of my problem quickly and kindly.

It is an excellent product, I am attempting to order a wire floor to replace the solid wood floor in the nesting hutch. Tthis product is as described and was easy to assemble and excellent directions. We will see how stand up to out door use

Arrived nicely packed and shipped out super-fast. Quality is questionable to say the least, somewhat flimsy, tray hard 2 remove 2 clean, den portion locks don't line up and its challenging 2 open then close securely. front entrance not secure had to use zip ties 2 better secure the door, hinged roof does not have any latches wind knocked it over while i was trying to pry the tray out to clean, size adequate somewhat on the small side even though I ordered the largest version offered. looks good though just make sure u put in a secure place and reinforce doors ect ect..Oh open grate floor not level and lifts up 2 easily. Not that hard to assemble., My very small Holland Lop seems to like it..

I love this rabbit hutch and so does my dwarf rabbit (opal). Needs some TLC legs came with cracks in them not to the point that I couldn't assemble but still shouldn't have cracks it brand new. Few of the screw holes are stripped as well. But over all I love it and for the money its a great product just needs a few improvements.

The hutch is built well and the instructions were easy to follow. I purchased this item to use for a rabbit for indoor use. I do not think it is suitable for a rabbit because it does not catch all of the liquid when the rabbit urinates. If you litter train the rabbit, their will be little room left for movement once the litter box is added to the hutch. I placed a tray under the hutch as a temporary fix, but have decided to litter train the rabbit and make a larger cage on my own. I think it would be a good hutch for a smaller pet, such as a guinea pig.

The cage looks adorable, that's for sure. The design is awful to say the least! The ""tray"" under the wire is SO shallow that it only allows for a thin, thin layer of litter. When it is time to clean the tray there is NO easy way to do it! You can either pull up the grate and clean or slide out from the back, which I do NOT recommend as the spillage [and there WILL be spillage] goes everywhere..also my bunny ate all the soft {yes, soft wood} that he could find inside the cage! Wish I had this whole thing to do over :(

My wife and I purchased this and were very disappointed. It arrived broken and the wood is very cheap. The picture makes it appear nice, but the screws didn't fit properly, the cage wire was very cheap and not sturdy, and had dents. The only bright spot about the whole purchase was the great customer service by Hayneedle. We called them to find out how to return it and get a refund that they were courteous, understanding, and easy to deal with. One of the best customer experiences ever.
