LaserShield Instant Home Security System

I got it from Costco back in 2007 for $199 with 2 wireless detection units, 2 keychain remotes and the console. Same package at Sam's Club now (2009) is $189. The monthly fee I paid was only $14.95 even most people paid $19.95 to Rapid Response still consider low. The whole systems is under full warranty as long as you paid the monthly fee. The bad part is the monthly billing systems seems have bug but LaserShield still keep my home covered even I owe them 9 months fee unintentionally. I would advise them to improve the material outside keychain remote to be more rugged, add two-way voice plus keypad on console, increase the loudness of siren, and extend the types of sensor units (smoke, shake, flood, outside alert flashing light). Overall, its a turn-key system ready out of box!!!

The Lasershield was smaller than I expected. (I guess that's my fault, for not reading the dimensions), and I did not like the fact of having to pay a monthly fee for the phone service. The montion dectector does not cover as broad of a range I would of liked, nor is it as loud as I would of liked. Hopefully it will detect a burgular and scare them away, when the time comes.
