It's was easy to assemble, size and height is perfect for my usage. Great value for the price.
The fan is great I brought two
I finally had to replace my 18” Lasko fan so bought this one. It's a great fan and I love having the remote. If you want a quiet fan, this one is definitely for you, but if you're like me and need the noise AND wind to sleep either get the bigger version or just put it on high like I do. Overall, it's a great fan.
Fan has great air flow. Low is pleasant. Medium is comfortable air flow. High speed is strong reaching the the whole room. It has low noise threshold.its especially soothing for white noise for sleeping. It's low price made me wonder if it wouldn't cool enough. This fan did. I am always happy when I buy a lasko fan
I am so glad I didn't listen to the reviews that kept saying the fan is short. The fan is perfect, if you are sitting on a couch, a chair, laying in bed, working at your desk, standing, walking around, this fan will comfortably reach. I'm thinking these people may have not extended the main pole up and that would definitely make it short. But anyway, not only is it the perfect height, I truly love the way it turns on and the way you choose low, med, or high. It has these really easy soft touch buttons, and a light that shows what setting its on. IF you shut it off, and turn it on later it remembers the last setting and will start on that setting. It oscillates perfectly with no clicking sound. The air flow is just enough, but not over powering. We also own very strong fans, but this one I needed to gently keep my handicapped daughter cool and comfortable while in bed, or watching tv, etc. but not so much that it froze her. The remote need 2 AA batteries, does not come with it.
Arrived early and well packaged, however there was a crack in the plastic height adjustment ring. Which means it doesn't support the pole, making fan less usable. Could be fixed with duct tape or gorilla glue or something, but for the price paid, I want a fully operational model. I like Lasko, but this seems to be a problem with their pedestal fans. The non-remote ones we have at work also have similar problem (although we taped those) but height is not adjustable that way. Walmart was quick to refund and we gave the remaining pieces to local community that was happy to fix it for set height use.
I did not find the fan to be as powerful as my last one that was 20 years old and was a Windmere brand. The Lasko fan also seems to shut off by itself which I am not happy with.
Easy to assemble. Remote is very limited, you can't stop the side to side movement. I like a steady flow just above the bed not constant rotation which adds to the noise!
Waited weeks to get this shipped into my local walmart. Couldn't even put it together. The front plastic piece was totally warped and wouldn't even snap on to rest of fan because it was so crooked. Not to mention whole thing shook violently unless it was on high. Seems like it was made very quick and cheaply - maybe due to being out of season...either way definitely going back. Would have been a decent fan otherwise....
Well packaged, delivery went well. Lasko. Our go to for years. Now? No. Flimsy, ultramarine plastic everything. Assembled easily. Turn it on, let the fun start. Black smoke, thick stench of burning oil. Machine lubricant? Perhaps. Turned on low, close by in case of flames. Afterc40 minutes still smoke and burning smell. Trashed. Not worth a fire. Lasko. Shame on you.
