At sale price, it's worth it. At 200W, you can run it for a long time and not worry about your electricity cost. It just takes a little longer time to heat up a room. I would recommend it for a small room or area. It suites me just fine for my use. It's built very sturdy too.
Well, it's only 200 W so it's good for taking the chill off if it is within 3 feet of you or so. But it does work. And the low wattage keeps the electric bill down so you can run it for a long time. It is small, but it looks and feel sturdy.
Like because of low 5 Amp draw. And heats my small 5' x 5' well insulated outside building. Only one dislike is when it is shut off and temperature reaches below 20° it has to be warmed up and reset. But once it is going and stays on it is okay.
works perfect for what I wsnted it for aat my desk
It keeps me warm in my office space. It also uses low watts so it doesn't blow a circuit in my office.
The contour surfaces stay cold as announced. Excellent performance and build Quality; Better than who plug-in the lighter who risk to damage your car. I used them with my 120V powerpack in camping if the night is cold. That consume around 260w total as showen on the powerpack.
We needed a low wattage heater that was suitable for using in a small RV and this one fit the bill. It appears well-made, but I'm giving it four stars and not five because it doesn't look like it has an auto shut off feature if it tips over.
Very good for warming up small spaces. The 200 watts it puts out assures that no outlet it is plugged into will be overloaded. And, the unit in operation is relatively quiet. The efficient air conditioner in the office I work in gets too chilly after a while. So I use this small personal heater for gradually warming up the leg space underneath my office desk, in this office cubicle environment. The heat fills up the space under the desk, and the heated air rises up towards my legs, and I'll no longer feel the chill. The only thing it lacks is a 24-hour timer. I remedied that need by plugging it into an electric timer with a remote switch. That way, with a remote switch on the desk, I won't have to crawl under the desk to shut off the unit, and, it will power down the unit when the duration of time I've specified, runs out after I have clocked out at the end of my work shift.
I bought this heater for work, where I am always cold. It doesn't heat up my entire office, but has already made it more comfortable throughout the day. I needed something that did not draw a lot of power and this is just right.
Low wattage yes but no air flow. Kind of useless unless you sleep in a closet.
