So far am pleased. I live in the Caribbean and I normally don't buy tower fans but an surprised at the amount of air I get from this fan and so far I don't have to clean as much dust.
I've only recently purchased this fan, so haven't used it for real long yet, but my first use has been great! We own one of the expensive Bladeless fans by Dyson. That one is a combo heater and fan and I love it...but the fan part isn't as strong as traditional fans and it's extremely expensive...roughly $400...although I did buy it on sale for a good price relatively speaking. But in general the Dyson fans, while cool looking are just overpriced for what they are. I was wondering why no one else ever came out with a competing product and it turns out they did! This is it! Amazon also has a couple of of other models of Bladeless fans they sell...most are tabletop.
cools really well.got it for my very hot natured son.
Everything is fine, but at high speed (4) the fan is somewhat noisier than I anticipated. But I am planning to keep the fan. A New fancy product/item, certainly.
I've not had this long, so I've rated it a 4. Only time will tell if it gets 5. It's fairly quite. Puts out a good amount of air. Because of its design, it'll pull a little extra air through the open middle which i feel is why they advertise it moves 30% more air. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
It's loud when you turn it on and should go to all speed first then set the desired speed before it tones down. The fan it not very efficient and needs to be closed to the individual before you feel the fan. Don't know the ease of cleaning since it's new and have not clean it yet.
The tower is slick, but noisy like any old regular fan. I think the fresh ion tecnology is a plus. and the price is good. Just don't buy it if you have an aversion to the noise. It is a powerful fan and noise level increments with the speed.
Although Lasko is my go to brans fie fans, this one did'nt have the airflow power i was looking for. The only reason i had chose this model, vresus my original 48" Lasko, was because of the dust collection on the other models that are "NOT, NOT BLADELESS"! Hope you understand. Weekly cleaning of the blades became a hassell. No offense, just the truth.
This is the THIRD TIME I have purchased a fan from Lasko and it arrives with the box completely shredded like a mountain lion went to town on it and I gave it a chance, plugged it in and the back of the fan started blowing sparks. It's giving off this really ominous smell as well. Inital filter is damaged. Someone has to say something about this or something serious and potentially fatal is bound to happen. I don't even feel safe touching the device. Of course I wouldn't see any refund due to the fact that the desk fan I had purchased over two weeks ago still hasn't been sent to my account. This is a potential fire hazard to all Walmart employees and managers!! This product has been used from what I can clearly see.
Product was shipped in the original box. When I received it, the box was not taped well. The lid and parts were missing.
