Great purifier for the price. Timer works well - just pick how long you want it to run. It automatically shuts off when done. Not very loud on low. Good for white noise or using in another room. Excellent at getting rid of our fireplace smell.

I bought 2. They arrived on time and in expected condition. I immediately put them to use. Maybe I should have bought 4 replacement filter packs at the same time. My main reasons for buying this specific make and model were 1. size of unit and area it serves, 2. I needed something for my condo and possibly my desk at work. (air quality issues in both places) 3. Highly rated by Consumer Reports - I always trust Consumer Reports. Now I will buy the medium size for the condo and take one of the small ones to the office. Stunning how quiet yet effective the small unit is...very satisfied.

It is important for me to keep a clean house and that is a chore with two dogs A bird and two kids. There is constantly something floating in the air and my living room Electronics seem to be the one that collected the most. That is why I selected the HEPA Filter Desktop Air Purifier by Lasko. I've had Lasko products before and they lasted a long time. This is a nice size air purifier not too big and not too tiny. The unit has three speed settings and it also has a timer to work for 1, 4 and 8 making it perfect for your office and you won't have to worry about turning it off when you leave. On the third setting it blows enough air that it would be like having a fan on high in your office so it does have a good quality air output. To me it is doing double duty and that's important. It is good quality very well made something that would last you through the years. The easy push compartment opens up to remove a black washable filter making it easy to clean dry and reinsert. The HEPA filter has the fine paper over it so it traps any sort of dust or debris that you would get past the washable filter. Quite easily to clean with a gentle setting on your vacuum we'll make it last a very long time. I set up my HEPA Filter Desktop Air Purifier and ran it for 5 days straight. I was amazed at what. It pulled away from the area and my television electronics do not seem half as Dusty as they normally are. That is a huge bonus for me. I am happy with the job it is doing it is working exactly for what I wanted it for.

The Lasko Desktop Air Purifier is larger than I anticipated. While it has a relatively small footprint, it seemed large for my desk so I use it on the floor. It comes with a true HEPA filter plus an activated charcoal filter. Filter installation is easy. The touch controls are easy to understand. Power on/off, Fan Speed low/medium/high, and Auto-Off Timer programmable up to 8 hours of run time. The filter is quiet at all fan speeds.

Wow! Just wow! I can actually breathe at night and also feel rested in the morning. I am using this amazing air purifier in my bedroom and my allergy symptoms have decreased significantly in a very short period of time. It gets rid of the dust, pet dander, and pollen. I live in a high pollen area and my furbaby (dander) is always by my side, even in bed. The genuine Hepa filter is capturing all those nasty pollutants and a whole lot more. My room seems to smell better too. The genuine hepa filter is good for up to a year or for so many usage hours. It saves me time and money by not having tu change out the filter every month. I love that it has 3 fan speeds and a programmable timer. It's size is cpmparable to a small CPU tower and might fit on a larger nightand but I have it sitting next to my bed on the floor because my stand and dresser are too small to accomodate it. I am thinking about purchasing a larger unit for my living/kitchen/dining area. I love it!

This purifier has made a remarkable difference in our home. We have 2 connecting rooms, 10x10 and 10x15. I placed the purifier on the floor, in the middle. It gives the entire space a new, pure smell. We had a smoker over. A member of the family who can't stand smoke was in the 10x10 area, the smoker was in the 10x15....near the purifier. The machine kept the smoke from moving around the rooms. No one had any problems. No smoke lingering, no one bothered. For regular, daily use, it's wonderful. I just mentioned the smoker because that was a great, visible difference. I'm very impressed with the abilities of this little, lightweight machine.

I was so happy when I received this air purifier, I gave my bedroom and windowsills a good cleaning before I set this up. I love that the bedroom smells fresher and the air feels cleaner, and with my horrible allergies at spring time this came in handy. It's perfect size for a bedroom. I believe it only covers a little under 200 square feet.

Far bigger than I anticipated. I actually think it's to big to go on a desktop unless you have a very large desk. I added a picture with a regular tube of chapstick in front of purifier to try and show the size. Works well, has 3 speed settings. Also has timer. If you are looking for something very quiet this isn't it. If you like a little white noise, like me, and want cleaner and fresher air circulating in a room then this is a good buy. Definitely not for large area. I have it on a stand about 4 feet away from side of my bed. Blows nice cool air and I feel like I can tell the difference. My only complaint is on the lowest speed the sound is not as level and continuous. Almost like you can hear the motor of the fan. So I personally don't use it on the lowest fan setting because the noise is slightly irritating to me. I'm also a very hyper vigilant person. Overall, I definitely give this 4 stars. It seems to work fine but the filter only lasted a few weeks at which point I found out that the manufacturer no longer produces replacement filters. You are forced to use third party aftermarket filters which create additional headaches for ensuring figment and quality.
