First fan did not work. Called Service Dept. and followed their instructions on return of cord. Was very pleased (and surprised) when I received a new fan the very next week. I love this fan and will consider purchasing another one next year for another area.L Thank you!!!
Great product, easy to assemble. Quite large, but fits on a patio and does a good job at keeping the mosquitos at bay. Walmart shipped quickly, so we had it in only a few days of ordering.
I absolutely love this fan. Besides being beautiful, it is a very powerful fan.The light at the top of it is an added bonus, that I am not sure that I really knew about before purchasing it. Anyway, as of right now I love it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great fan.
This is a classy looking fan. It's a little noisy, but it creates a great breeze even on low. Ship to store was a good experience. Came in a few days early, and checkout at the store was a breeze. If you can afford this fan, buy it. you won't be sorry.
I have only had this fan for couple months now but it is holding up well so far. It does put out a fairly good wind stream which is truly pleasant on a hot day and to keep bugs away. It has 3-speeds. I find that with the highest setting, the fan is rather loud, but tolerable. This mostly affects me if I am listening to music. Normally I run it on low/medium. The remote control is great to have. Probably the biggest design improvement I would ask for is a wider oscillation range. It is limited to about an 80-degree spread. So if your outdoor space is arranged in a rectangle, not every corner may get covered. I thought of adding a second one someday, but cost will prevent this for awhile. A big surprise though to me was the instructions said not to plug this into an extension cord due to potential heat buildup. This was the first I read of that and was a bit surprised because you don't find this out until you have the package opened and the item is removed from the box. Unfortunately if I am to use the fan, I have no choice but to use an extension cord. I do have mine plugged into a outdoor-grade extension cord though. So far I have not noticed any heat buildup with the cord. The fan looks nice and actually appears bigger to me than what it appears in the pictures. Not necessarily an issue, but just thought I would mention it. The unit is well-built and does tolerate the outdoors (at least summertime weather). I will move it indoors of course during the winter. A somewhat laughable complaint I have was in regards to opening the package as per their 'picture' only instruction. The actual assemby of the fan is simple and requires only a couple of small steps, but getting the box open per their instructions was rather odd. I just had trouble visualizing what they were indicating. I was concerned because I was trying to preserve the original packaging in case I wanted to return the unit, therefore I did not want to just rip the box open. Overall I feel pretty good about this purchase. It definately is nice to have some air circulation while sitting under the gazebo. I looked at other fans and did not find much in the way of outdoor rated fans that I liked (for example, the appearance was not to my liking). This one fits the bill so far until somebody comes out with a better one.
This is a rare find -- an outdoor tower fan. There are other outdoor fans, but very few towers. It's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it. It has a small footprint and looks like a piece of outdoor furniture. We have it positioned at one of the corners of our deck, and it is very effective.
We were looking for an outdor rated fan for our porch and this filled the bill. The look is quality, heavy, sturdy. Great airflow. A bit loud on high but, can still have a conversation. Easy set up. Pricing on Walmart was the best we found for this specific model.
Expensive but well built and easy to assemble. Works well. The light is accent only.
The fan is lovely and works well. It's not noisy. The reason I'm returning it is because the oscillation area is very narrow. It's too narrow for the seating on my patio.
not cool enough. take up space. access return asap. ty
