Lasko Cyclone 18" 3-Speed Adjustable Large Room Pedestal Fan, Gray, S18902

The first fan I received must have been directive. I requested a replacement in the morning and I receive the replacement in the afternoon of the same day. Thank you Walmart for the stellar customer service. The replacement fan has been working flawlessly.

I love my dumb fan with manual static push buttons. It's replacing my digtal Lasko fan the resets ever time it loses power, or the lights flicker. I have it and my air purifier on a romote out with a switch mounted on the wall so I can turn them off when I get and turn them both back on now when I go to bed. The only thing wrong with this fan was the blade making a whisling noise. I swapped blades with my old fan to stop it. I also used my old metal cover because it seemes less resistant to air flow than the plasit one that came with this one.

I love my new fan. It's just loud enough for some nice white noise but not too loud. I love that the fan head can be positioned up or down. It's bigger than any pedestal fan I've had previously but it's ok for it to be a little bigger. I had to look the instructions up online but it was easy to assemble. I love it.

This fan is great for circulating air in a room however there is one problem with the oscillating fan when you go to the second or third level there's a clicking sound and it can be rather annoying when you're awake and trying to fall back to sleep, but otherwise has great airflow even on low speed so I just keep it there.

I did not receive what I ordered. I ordered a pedestal fan with a remote control, but I got a different model instead. I was only notified about this change with just 15 minutes to respond, which is not enough time when I'm working or driving. This has made me very upset. I will be returning the incorrect model and will think twice before ordering from your website again unless I can confirm that the item I want is actually in stock.

Good fan however it's a death trap. The top portion is heavy, when you adjust the height there is no support to the top portion. It is heavy and slams down like a guillotine. This fan slammed down onto 2 of my fingers and split them open. I was prepared and offered support and the force of the top dropping still hurt me.

The good: it's quite powerful at an affordable px, 100% old-fashioned mechanical (no electronic push button, reset.. It's hard to come by these days) The bad: Extremely light weight for its size, somewhat noisy, the front grill broke (in a small area probably in the mfg stage- did not bother to return bc the store return/exchange can be painfully slow and unreliable.

The fan was shipped to me, due to none of the surrounding Walmarts in CNY, having any of the black fans in stock. I received the fan damaged within the box. Upon pulling the parts out to start assembling, I realized the switch knob, that turns the fan on/off, or to change speeds 1-3, was completely snapped and dislocated from the main part of the fan where the motor is encased. I can't even go and exchange it at a local Walmart, unless I'm willing to settle for the white color. And to return it through shipping it back to lasko or Walmart, I would be taking the chance if recieving another broken fan, and continue not to have a fan during the process.

Is absolutely the worst fan I have ever purchased in my entire life. it does not stay up. You walk away from it and it's all the way back to the ground. No matter how tight you make it. Also it is the loudest thing I've ever heard in my entire life and I mean loud there's no way you could put it on in a room here the TV here yourself think the only problem is I never throw away boxes, but my kids were here and they threw away all my boxes that were in the garage and just happened to be one that I got the fan in or believe me I would have returned it and got my $47 back but since I don't have the box, Walmart will not let me return it. Stay away from this fan, if you buy it, you will be sorry!

The item that I received was an 18-inch pedestal fan without a remote. The item description says 16-inch pedestal fan with remote. When scanned the barcode says the same as the online description, however, the box description is different! This is a scam Wal-Mart!
