Lasko Cyclone 18" 3-Speed Oscillating, Adjustable Height, Tilting Head Pedestal Fan S18931

This fan puts out a powerful breeze and cools the room quickly. It's easy to assemble, runs quietly, and the adjustable height and oscillation help circulate air throughout the room. It feels well made and is a great value for the price. I highly recommend it, especially for hot summer days!

I love the wide fan and the sturdy base, the three power levels are a nice touch. And while it's more powerful that the little 16 inch I had it's also not quite as powerful as I was thinking it would be. It's still nice and cooling and a great deal comparatively!! I do recommend it.

quiet %26 nice size. Only thing I didn't like was the snap ins didn't all line up with the openings to attach the fan cover. Only got 2 that lined up . Didn't want to return because I felt they would all be that way %26 it was the only one I liked.

It's a big fan. I don't like that the head would be easy to break as to you have to bend it back and forth to adjust and it clicks loudly. Another thing the pole adjustable piece is cheap and doesn't tighten completely. Glad I paid for the warranty. Cu something tells me it's not gonna last long.

Purchase was to replace same model of previos Lasko fan after 14 years. I don't think this one will last as long tho. Assembly was difficult as pieces did not fit together as described in video. Base didn't "click" into place and the fan blade had to be firmly forced down the rod to expose enough of the rod to allow the lock nut to screw into place. However it's currently running smoothly and quietly. Fingers crossed.

This fan is very powerful with great air flow, but it is by far the loudest fan I have ever owned. At the lowest speed it rattles so loud that it wakes people in other rooms. At the highest setting it sounds like it will blow apart! As a garage fan where noise is not a problem it would be great but it is definitely not a fan you could watch TV while it's on and sleeping with it on is not an option!

i did not order this. i put in a fan (cheaper, smaller one) with a substitution for the same one in a different color. this time instead of mailing me something they claim is out of stock, they substitute with something they picked out, that was higher price. and a 2 inches larger. great, fine, whatever. i noticed it's wobbly. everything wobbles. push a tube into the comedic size base, insert another tube, screw the lock tube down, push that into fan head. put on fan blades, screw in place, pop on cover. it felt too easy, because it was. granted the motor is strong and it blows a lot of air, but it does so with several clicks and hums and rattles. it sounds like a 1974 ford pinto running a thousand miles an hour. it shakes because the blades aren't balanced, it makes more noise than the one i bought (the other one, remember) to replace .. the fan sucks, don't buy one. unless you're hard of hearing and really warm, it'll push some air at you, and at least you won't hear it that way.

I use to love this brand but the last 3 fans I've bought have been messed up. i don't think the blades were meant for this fan. I could tell it had just been thrown together. I thought it was just a fluke but the next fan was even worse. This is a well loved brand i hope they get it together

The fan was shipped to me, due to none of the surrounding Walmarts in CNY, having any of the black fans in stock. I received the fan damaged within the box. Upon pulling the parts out to start assembling, I realized the switch knob, that turns the fan on/off, or to change speeds 1-3, was completely snapped and dislocated from the main part of the fan where the motor is encased. I can't even go and exchange it at a local Walmart, unless I'm willing to settle for the white color. And to return it through shipping it back to lasko or Walmart, I would be taking the chance if recieving another broken fan, and continue not to have a fan during the process.

Ordered this fan twice already and BOTH fans made a high pitched squealing noise, took them both apart multiple times trying to figure out the issue before I just realized it's coming from the fan motor and I can't fix that. I go INTO the store to buy this one, thinking maybe I got a used one previously or a dud… this fan ALSO makes the high pitch squealing noise. I used to always buy lasko so I'm not sure what has happened over the years but I won't be buying a fourth. Time to try a new brand I guess, this has been the most annoying experience with buying a fan I've ever had.
