Overall it's a fairly unique pedestal fan BUT… The description of it is MISLEADING ! The instructions for use packaged with it are MISLEADING and ARE NOT ACCURATE and do NOT cover a couple of important features , their use or how to correct and abnormality that DOES have the potential to take place , and for me did right out of the box It ONLY comes with two (2) SHORT POLES to elevate the fan head to an acceptable height level (Unless the user is just as vertically challenged) ! Programing your prefered settings is NOT easily accomplished and even more difficult to undue if you make a mistake. Back to the support poles , …😳Lasko Inc. Does not , and will not sell additional poles (they call em' pipes) on their parts page , then two pages later call them poles ? But say they only recommend using the two POLEs that come with the unit…? I RECOMMEND THEY MAKE THE CONSUMER WHO BOUGHT THEIR PRODUCT BE OFFERED ANY REPLACEMENT PART THEY" MAY WANT TO PURCHASE available !! If i modify the product after I BOUGHT IT , then thats on me not the seller of the product (In this case LASKO MODEL APDC-301 floor fan

This fan is so powerful and quiet I don't know how they do it ! It is so versatile and small I truly love it and it's going to be a great addition to the room for those hot nights !

I've been using a small fan mounted on the wall but it only has 3 speeds and doesn't move. This fan has a variety of settings. I sleep so much better now and I'm so happy I can control it from my bed.

He has his computer set up which puts off a lot of heat and this fan keeps it cool in there. Super easy to put together and love the fact that it has a remote control! My favorite setting is where the occillation is on and the fan head rotates. It's so cool

The remote makes it simple to operate. Getting a fan this size and powerful at this selling price makes it a great value for sure. The fan can oscillate from side to side and up and down. It really gets the air flowing through the whole area. It very quite at night.

The remote it comes with is convenient and the it's simple to operate. This is such a nice fan and I'd recommend it to everyone. The only con is it's not that tall, but you know that when buying it if you read the specs so it's fine. Does what it says and feels good in the summer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is incredible!! It covers the basics and also has features I've never even dreamed of! Starting with the basics, the fan creates wind that is strong and steady and whisper quiet at lower settings. There are 24 wind speed settings, and I find the mid range to be perfect for a normal day. The lowest settings are nearly imperceptibly quiet, which is great if you prefer silence. The remote control is wonderful. It is so convenient to be able to turn the fan on and off and also be able to change the settings remotely. All fans should have remotes!! This fan also oscillates both vertically and horizontally and can even do both at the same time!! I've never seen a fan do that before. There are three different options for the horizontal range of oscillation as well. There is also a "nature" setting which varies the wind speed up and down to create natural-feeling breezes. Never knew I needed this feature, but it is so peaceful. You can also set it to low, medium, or high speed for this setting. There is also a sleep timer, and it will steadily lower the wind speed over the course of several hours. I don't find this to be useful for me, but it is an interesting idea. Overall, I am super impressed with this fan. It has permanently replaced our previous (and more expensive) fan because of all of the awesome features and the quality of the wind it produces. I really appreciate all of the innovation and new ideas that this fan offers, while still doing its main job of creating wind exceptionally well.

I really love this fan. I love the handle on it. It's very easy to lift and move. However, it's a bit too unstable because the base needs to be heavier, so that it's sturdy enough not to topple over. It's also much shorter than I expected it to be. I'd love to be able to buy another pole to add to it, to increase the height of this fan.
