[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been looking for a foundation that lasts all day but doesnt feel heavy or cakey. i have been really impressed with this foundation . It is a creamy texture that applies really smoothly and evenly and is easy to build up coverage . I would say it is a medium buildable coverage and leaves my skintone looking even with a natural looking finish that isnt too matte nor too dewy. The foundation lasted all day without looking patchy or cakey. i was really impressed with the staying power of this product.

It doesn't fade and doesn't rub off against clothing, so if you are in a job where you wear a white or light colour shirt you can be confident that no make up will be on the collar. It's really easy to apply, I use it with a damp sponge personally. It's very easy to build up and covered all my blemishes. I used mine with a primer underneath so I get an even finish. Such a great affordable foundation and I would highly recommend

I applied the make up before going to work and it still looked fresh when I'd finished. I would buy this product again but I would choose a lighter shade for my complexion.

I have used this foundation for years and years - but why did they change the packaging? I used to be able to squeeze an amount out easily but since they changed to a harder outer I have to squeeze and squeeze and then sometimes a blob too big comes out. I wonder why they changed it it was perfectly good before. If it ain't broke ......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by this foundation, when I first opened it was slightly runny but a good shake and the consistency was good. It provides good coverage, I have a facial scar and felt it did a good job. I would definitely buy this foundation, it went on well and blended nicely. It wasn't too thick and looked really natural.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I'm not afraid to admit that I'm a 38 year old that needs a little help from make-up to make my skin look flawless and give me the coveted gift of youth if you know what I mean! I have very slight rosacea on my cheeks and my pores are bigger than what I would like... I've tried lots of different foundations from high street to designer with differing results and was quite excited to try this Max Factor Lasting Performance. It sounded good! It all started great, was a nice texture and went on and blended easily. It wasn't as thick as I hoped though. I had to put on two layers all over (after my primer) and then a third on my cheeks to cover the redness. But it did look good after I had finished. I work long hours and need my make-up to last. This, however, didn't. By the afternoon the redness in my cheeks was showing through and I could see that the foundation had settled into my pores making them even more obvious than usual. This wasn't the long lasting touch proof foundation I was hoping for. Maybe it would be better suited to either a younger skin or one that needs less help to look good. Or even if you only using it for a night out. Unfortunately, it doesn't tick the boxes for what I need it for.

I eventually run out of original lasting performance foundation which I have used for many, many years. The new version unfortunately is awful. Tube too thick. Difficult to squeeze product out. Consistency is different, not for the better. Colour is darker than old version & soon starts to look orange. I used to get lots of complements about my skin. Now it looks like I am wearing heavy orange make up. The old version looked fresh all day. The new version looked caked. People commented on my orange heavy make up. Such a shame.

I've been a long time user of max factor products, particularly the pastelle (102) foundation. Unfortunately the shade is now darker than the original. When I started to apply the newer version (made in USA) I could tell it was darker instantly, compared to the older version (made in Ireland). So disappointing as I wasted money buying in bulk and no lighter shades are available in shops in Australia.
