Late For The Sky - Kanata-Opoly

Delivery was smooth and the item arrived in good condition. This is a novelty item that is unlikely to appeal to folx outside Kanata. Personally, I probably wouldn't play it, given how frustrating Monopoly is to play. (This is in part bc Elizabeth Magie Phillips initially designed the game in 1904 to teach players about the disadvantages of capitalism and wealth concentration - not for good old-fashioned family fun.) Monopoly is a board game with a reputation for creating family discord, to say the least! I did have a bit of a laugh while looking through it with my Kanata-based peers and I could certainly use it as a demo for educational purposes (e.g. a cross-curricular combination of sociology and visual art when students design their own games about the pandemic or other social topics). It's quite the social commentary to dissect, which can be fun to do if you can manage to have a sense of humour about it. In short, this is something that makes for good conversation. I wouldn't use it for anything else in terms of entertainment, although others might. It depends on what floats your boat.
