Latitude 45 Cold Smoked Atlantic Salmon, 4 oz. Serving size 2 oz, 2 Servings per Container

I have become addicted to this delicious food item %26 it is inexpensive enough for me to enjoy weekly. We all know how good salmon is for us, you can eat it with bagels etc. I like it as a sandwich made with Walmart's sourdough fresh bread, mayonnaise %26 sometimes cream cheese for breakfast!

Perfect fat level without stringy or grainy pieces. Usually lasts me 3-4 bagels but it would go great on everything! The flavor is a little less intense than a perfectly smoked salmon but still provides a nice salty flavor.

This is a mild smoked salmon which I think compares to nova lox. The texture is buttery, and it nearly melts in your mouth. The color is usually very uniform, and there are almost no chewy bits The taste is not strong, nor is the smell. It's not very salty. I have purchased it several times and really enjoy it.

I've been buying this brand of smoked salmon for years. It's generally good re: texture, taste, etc., but the price has been steadily increasing, and the quality is inconsistent. Sometimes the salmon falls apart in the mouth or is chewy. 4/5, overall pretty good.

I usually get smoked salmon from somewhere else for my lox bagels but they were out and I tried this out. Maybe I am just used to the other one but I didn’t care for this as much. It was kinda stringy, taste wasnt bad but not great. The price is low so I understand perhaps it’s a different quality or maybe I just got a weird one!

Be careful ordering this. I received it via Walmart delivery in January 2026 and the package only shows an “ELAB. DATE” of 06.06.25, which is the production date, not an expiration date. That means this salmon was made over 7 months ago with no clear indication of whether it’s still safe. Smoked seafood is perishable and this labeling is confusing and unacceptable. This feels like old inventory being sent out without transparency.

As another reviewer pointed out, there is no Best By or expiration date, only an “elab date” of 7/4/25. Um- That was last summer??? Can’t get seem to get a clear answer on if it’s safe to eat, but I don’t feel comfortable consuming fish that was packaged over six months ago with no clear expiration date.

The last few times I’ve bought this product, the package was missing 1/3 of the product purposefully. They packaged with way less product. And they package in a way that you can’t tell they’ve put less product in the package until you buy it and open it. Meanwhile the price keeps going up. This is a scam. Still not be buying again.

I usually get my smoked salmon from Food Lion, but became a new Walmart subscriber recently.. This salmon is just…tasteless. Not to mention they offer no wild caught replacement. I won’t be buying again. Matter of fact- I’m reconsidering my whole Walmart sub from order cancellations to lazy shoppers trying to ‘replace’ every item I’m finding it’s just not worth it.

They are reasonably priced and I would’ve loved to give a better review but I can’t because I’m afraid to eat them.
