Latitude 45 Cold Smoked Atlantic Salmon Loin, 8 oz, 4 Servings per Package, Serving Size 2oz

I love to treat myself to a yummy lox and cream cheese toasted bagel with capers, onion and tomato. This is decent quality and makes a pretty darn good one. of course you need to make sure to buy a good quality bagel and lots of good capers. Okay, now I've made myself hungry for one. :)``

Latitude 45 does really good salmon. This is a cold smoked loin filet that has a milder flavor than their hot smoked roasted salmon. Sliced, skin off. Not as oily as the roasted, but retains plenty for a good texture. As best I can tell, this is the same filet as in the 4 oz package but it's sliced differently. This is sliced straight down; the smaller pack is sliced on a diagonal. Personally, I prefer the diagonal as it's easier to lay on my bagels, but the 8 oz pack is considerably less expensive per ounce. Good stuff.

I love the smoked salmon. It’s the best that I’ve found that’s not in a restaurant obviously it’s a smoked salmon like a lox not a cooked or baked salmon fillet but that’s what I love about it because it’s like something to eat with bagel, cream, cheese, crackers I eat it just with a fork. It’s healthy. It’s buttery. It’s not too salty. It’s cut thick. It has good marble and again it’s the best quality that I have found at a grocery store for years.

I love smoked salmon and over the years it has been hit or miss with me. At times it can be very salty or tough and texture. But since I have come across Latitude, I don’t want any other brand. It is always tender and very flavorful, not salty at all. I like to stock up when Walmart has it available and I keep it in the freezer and it keeps its consistency. Great with cream cheese and bagels or in scrambled eggs. I can’t say enough good things about it would recommend to anyone who likes smoked salmon.

I love this salmon it has such a good smoked flavor, I throw it in the air fryer on 300 for about 4-5 minutes just to heat it up and it's delicious! It has a great texture and flavor However, just a warning. it is very salty so I usually mix it with just plain white rice.

Reminds me of high school in NY, when my friends and I would meet at the local diner on weekends for bagels, lox and cream cheese. Except now I combine it with Neufchâtel Instead of cream cheese and put it on a wheat tortilla wrap instead of a bagel. A little everything bagel seasoning sprinkled on the cream cheese helps a lot. It's still delicious with probably half the calories. Don't forget some tomato and onion!

The company is great. The salmon is good. Having Walmart sell it is not. Date on mine this morning was June of 2025. It’s December 2025. Imagine if we’d eaten that. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in Walmart. I called and they blamed the shopper and driver. How about Walmart removing fish that’s 7 moths expired? You call them and they do nothing. Doesn’t matter how much you spend a week.

Why do you guys constantly give out expired rotten food for pickup orders? It's REALLY Frustrating when I'm depending on an item I bought a lot of other expensive ingredients for the recipe and the star of the entire dish is ROTTEN. 6 months OLD ROTTEN. Please read the expiration dates. Some of us use your service...because we are disabled and we TIP for this kind of service? All we expect is normal fresh food edible food.

Under normal circumstances I would have given this product five stars because I have bought it either here or at other places. When I got it at home and we unpack things, I opened it up.So me and my P.A. could have a taste for lunch. it seemed hard around the edges. And just didn't taste quite right, so I wrapped it up and put it in the fridge to check out later. it had expired in September of 2025. The photo says it all.

Looked good but that's it. I purchased this, put it in the fridge and opened it up the FOLLOWING day. Upon opening, the salmon was SLIMY! I didn't even attempt to taste it, and wouldn't even give it to my pups. I've never had smoked salmon that was coated in clear slime. I can't believe I paid money to get nothing but a sick stomach!! Repulsive and a waste of money!!! I do not recommend!
