Got bedding for my youngest son, he's really rough and likes to do everything from playing leggo's on the bed to jumping on the covers with adventure in his head, this cover set has stood up to that, is attractive without being too little kid character (I felt like he is a little too old for spiderman or Batman sheets), the comforter looks good and the sheet set match well. Would buy again.
I bought this comforter set to complete the look of a red and gray bedroom, from an aesthetic standpoint this set does not disappoint. I especially like the complimentary yet contrasting print of the sheets and pillowcases. The receiver of this set will not use the flat sheet so I plan on using the material to easily make coordinating curtains. My disappointment with this comforter is that I find it to be very thin, especially for sleeping in New England, so I keep a thick soft blanket underneath for overnight warmth. If you live in a more forgiving climate I think you will be very happy with this set, it's super modern. I normally shop for practicality and bargain but due to time constraints ordered this without shopping around. I think I could have gotten similar quality from Walmart for less than the $50 I spent but all things considered with an extra blanket underneath it has the look I want and I am mostly pleased with my purchase.
Got this bed set for my son who loves Minecraft but also wanted a more "mature" room as he enters into teenage years. It's a nice set. The comforter feels a bit satiny and the sheets have a slight microfiber feel; which for a child with Sensory Processing Disorder I take a chance buying these things sight unseen. However, it passed the "test". I would probably avoid washing the comforter as much as possible and not sit on top of it too much, as I can see it would go flat. It's not a heavy blanket, so if you get chilled easily or for wintertime I would get an under blanket. The other nice thing I really like is the color scheme and shapes. Any shades of blacks and greys match. Red gives a color to accent with. So it's pretty easy to find decor to go with. Cube shelves and cubbies with your choice of color fabric drawers look really nice with it too.
I had been looking for a bedding set for my guest room that was versitile I changed the colors to gray black and red last year and purchased a comforter set but never liked it and as soon as I saw this one I didn't hesitate I ordered it. The only changes I would like to see made is the shams they don't quite cover my pillows so I'm having to add a piece to it so my pillows won't show. But overall I love it
I had purchased the same kind of thing elsewhere. It was supposed to be machine washable. I don't know what kind of a machine was supposed to be used to do this. The stitching was like 1 lb test fishing line and didn't hold up. This is much better and is both comfortable and warm.
I bought this for my 6 year old son. He's into Minecraft and they do not make bedding yet. He loves it because it looks like the blocks you build with. It's super soft and comfy. Looks great with all his Minecraft accessories.
I bought this for my 7 yr old because I was creating a Minecraft themed room. The sheets are thin but very soft and the comforter is too. I bought it one size bigger. He loved it. As an adult probably not, but for a kid definitely.
I bought this for my 10-yr old son's room. He loved the colors and the blocks, as it reminded him of Minecraft. The bedding is 50-50 cotton/poly, but the sheets are surprisingly soft. My only complaint is that the fitted sheet is not very tight on the twin mattress, so it slides out on the sides. Also because the sheets are a blend, they are a little "slick" and slide a little. But my son is happy! Again, for the price and for a full twin set, it does the job for a 10-yr old.
I bought the queen size bed in a bag because my son liked the comforter. I kept the sheets for my bed, because his bed is a full size bed. The queen size comforter that came in the bed in a bag, barely fits his full size mattress, it is more of a twin/full size comforter. Son loves the pattern design, but is unhappy about the improper sized comforter. Im glad i didnt buy the full size bed in a bag, which was not available anyway. No wonder the price is so low.
This set looks good in the picture, however the material of the sheets are so thin!! I have never purchased anything quite so thin! You will come out better just buying the wal mart brand sheets and comforter. This set was a dissapointment.
