Best clothing maintenance product to come out in years! I had several sweaters, jackets, socks, etc. that needed help. This little gizmo did the trick on every single item I used it on and it is easy on the batteries. Look for loose threads before using it, it can grab the thread and make an oopsie but I only had that happen once and it was not anything that ruined the sweater. It is not meant for clipping threads. Works better on removing lint than those sticky rollers. Way better! I ordered 2 more just in case.
Works great, easy to clean, smart design. I been removing lint from everything. Blankets, cushion covers, clothes, very good gadget. Don't know why i hadn't already purchased! Fyi if you seem to bogg down on power a bit before replacing batteries, open the cover on the head ( power off) and see if you got a piece stuck in the blades. Very happy withy purchase.
I got a damaged one sent to me but they corrected it immediately...so I am very happy...it seems to work pretty well...but getting batteries in was difficult for me.
This is fantastic. I bought it to replace one that I had for over 2 decades. There's nothing I haven't used it on; it works that well. Even my socks look new again!
Each pass covered a larger area than I expected. Finished a heavily pilled fleece jacket in minutes. 2 AA batteries matches my primary on-hand supply. Very pleased!
This thing is LIFE CHANGING.!!! I absolutely LOVE it. I've also used it WITHOUT removing the garmet Not Sharp and does NOT Snag!!!
1 star deducted for very poor battery compartment design. Spring terminals must get bent back, so sloped portion will bend back when inserting the batteries. No dividers to keep batteries in place. This means a battery could slide over to touch two terminals (and you'll see and smell a small arc). Even when both AA batteries (not included) are inserted, they slide around inside the compartment. The package says "3 blades". I thought that meant you got 3 heads. Nope, there are 3 blades on the head, so interchanging heads when they get dull. Got to shave off the pulled out threads from my cats on the plush blanket I put on the bed (which is much easier to launder than the comforter). It works for that, but the blanket is so plush that I can't get at the base of the pulled-out threads. Still, it cleans up the blanket, so it's no so obvious there are pulled-out threads from cat claws. Don't have anything that's gotten pilled yet to test this shaver on. Nice size for the hand. Not tiny like some, but requires a bit more storage space. Comes with a tiny cleaning brush, similar to what comes with electric face shavers (but this one is flat and skinny, and the bristles are short). Only used it once, so far, to test shaving off the pulled-out threads in a plush blanket, so no idea how long the batteries will last. They're AA size which is a lot more capacity than if it used AAA sized batteries.
First wrong, the picture for this item shows the exact type of fabric you should NOT use this shaver on. Second wrong, the description of the item is "electric shaver." I was looking for an electric shaver but they don't make them. This one is battery powered and not electric. It has a weirdly large opening for the batteries to go in. There is nothing to hold the batteries in place and the springs are so large you have to hold the battery in place while you try to force the second one in. It is way more challenging than installing batteries should be. Third wrong, and this is the big one, this is my second lint shaver and it's quite a bit bigger. The holes on the shaver guard are too. I never had a piece of clothing damaged by the other shaver that I had for around 20 years. This one caught on a fuzz ball on my favorite cotton tank top and caused a small hole in the front of the shirt. This was only the third shirt I used it on.
complete junk it was broken from the day it arrived .
