[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this as my base shadow exclusively for around 17 years. It is a neutral to cool champagne so it doesn't change the color of my crease shadow like a warm champagne would . And being fair, cool skinned it works well with my skin tone. It's not too shimmery and wears all day. I hope they never discontinue this. There is nothing else out there like it.

I only own Haze, so it is difficult for me to comment on Sateen Eye Colour in general, or compare it to the Luster and Matte series. Haze is a powdery light blue that goes on lighter than it looks in the pan. I think it would be gorgeous on pale skins with cool undertones and brighten up the eyelids. However, I have a lot of sallowness and warmth in my skin, and it can look unnatural on me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having green eyes, cognac eye shadow makes them really pop. I have worn this years ago just finding it again on Laura Mercier web site. In years past I thought this eye shadow had shimmer in it, this is sateen. Miss the shimmer.
