Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Illuminating Primer 50ml Radiance Makeup Base

I was glad I found this as they have discontinued it and replaced it with a different and inferior product.

I am SO happy I bought this primer. Literally have not stopped receiving complements on this even when used alone (yes even without foundation), I hope Laura never stops making this. Because I am obsessed- and have raved about it to EVERYONE ! If you're on the fence. I'm telling you, buy it !

I tried this because I had heard good things about Laura Mercier products and I had started using another prestige brand illuminating primer. This was a better value and I got a discount, so I gave it a whirl.... and I love it! Great texture and beautiful glow finish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this with Laura's Tinted Moisturizer all mixed with my own medical grade screen with the Pure Canvas Primer Illuminating. The combo is amazing and always attracts a question or two as to how this look was achieved. It seems so simple to me, I am not highly skilled with make up though. It lasts all day and can be easily freshened up if I go straight into the early evening. I have been using her Tinted Moisturizers with SPF since Laura owned her own line so naturally I love it. It went through a rocky road at first when she sold her epinonous company but it is righted now and I am happy to be able to use it for many more decades.

I bought this after trying a free sample and fell in love with how smooth & natural my foundation looked. I‘ve tried other primers in the past but they never felt right - too much “armor” underneath makeup that felt like I was wearing a mask, so I was convinced primers were just marketing hype. But what really sold me was the light reflecting quality with this illuminating version. If you've aging skin, it does diminish the look of wrinkles.

First time purchasing from Laura Mercier. The primer is great. Makes my skin very smooth. I also use the tinted moisturizer. People have commented how nice I look. Love that both products came in a small size to try. Will definitely purchase again. I also tried the blush & liked it a lot.

Does definitely make my face shiny, but it doesn't blur unevenness or redness. The luminosity disappears underneath powder, so it's pointless in the summertime. I'll try it again in winter when my skin is dry, and see whether it helps dullness. Was expecting more for the price.

Never arrived

I'm so disappointed that there no longer is the Radiance Illuminating Primer. It was the only product I loved and was using it for the past 5 years. Gave me healthy looking coverage without adding foundation if needed. BUT NO MORE. Wish it be relaunched back as original form.
