great high heat sealant.
we used this on our old smoker for years with no problem. we just purchased a new smoker and needed a new tube. it seals and held up for over 5 years.

Good stuff
I use this attach gaskets to my smoker. This seals th smoker better, Has really helped in cold weather. I don't knpw if food grade is needed, but can't hurt.

Highly recommend
I just used this on my new charcoal grill/smoker. It's working great! It sealed up the smoker so that smoke only escapes where it's supposed to.

toxic sludge
says 'food safe' but has tons of health warnings all over the tube... I was going to use it to seal my water distiller and realized it is useless and not worth any health risks. I thought it might work for my needs since I need a high temp solution to a flaw in my distiller.
