Bought this set for my wife to add to her collection of old TV series dvd's. She loves it!

I enjoyed the series when I was younger, now I can enjoy them again anytime I want.

I bought this series of seasons and not far into disc 1, maybe the 5th episode, the sound started cutting out? It was a gift for my family and it was very disheartening for this to happen on Christmas day as we sat around watching these good old shows. I hope it was just a fluke and was only that one show.

I am giving 2 stars for the show but nothing higher because this item is defective and cheaply made. Discs in every set I and others have ordered from here and elsewhere have been scratched up or worse. The cases that hold the dvds have been broken and the box that holds all this has been damaged too. We have gone threw at least 6 sets from various sources. And have read reviews on site of ppl who have had same issue. I think the company that owns laverne and shirley and released this set should recall the sets or re-release in better quality. But hey thats just me and a chunk of ppl. If ppl wanna take their chances and hope they get lucky then go ahead.
