I ordered this weighted blanket as a present for my daughter for her birthday. She is in love. We all know weighted blankets can be expensive so this was an extreme value / bargain as it is a queen size. The way the material is evenly dispersed and the softness of the material is to be applauded. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The dolphin faux fur blanket came today. The dolphin design is on both sides of the blanket. it is similar to the 10 pound 2 ply Korean Heavy fleece blanket (Made in China also) except that it is a little less thick (only eight pounds) and does not appear to be 2 ply even though the faux fur is on both sides of the blanket. This is the second purchase I have made of this type of blanket. It does survive washing in the washing machine using regular wash cycle. But ultimately where this type of faux fur blankets begins to show use, is first unraveling of the edge trim---- But can be fixed with needle and thread or use of sewing machine or just cut off the unraveled trim. I use these blankets to cover a Queen size bed where I allow my dogs-s-s-s-s to sleep and play on. The blanket covers the Queen size bed with at least a foot overlap on both sides. These dogs have nails to scratch on blanket, have teeth to chew on blanket and do play a lot. So the blanket I use has to be able to tolerate heavy traffic and the first one similar to this one I bought is holding up nicely as expected after one winter use. Using other different types of blankets even with a duvet cover in the past would resulted in torn fabric and feather/stuffing flying all over the place. The more expensive 10 pound Korean 2 ply blanket is a little bit warmer and softer to sleep with than this blanket. The most important plus is that this blanket is warmer than using a quilt or a coverlet or a simple fleece throw that weighs far less than 8 pounds on those cold freezing nights. The blanket arrived in a plastic bag vacuum sealed at the manufacturing plant in China and shipped in card board box that appears to be also packaged in the manufacturing plant in China. In other words, this blanket does not appear to have been directly handled in the US other than the shipping box means less potential exposure to the latest deadly virus. ---Not that China does not have the virus. Overall i am delighted with this purchase and am looking forward to purchasing future bargains of high quality products like this one at Walmart.

i LOVE these blankets!!! Warm.Easy wash.Soft.and priced right too! We have 4 dogs in the house..so this blanket gets washed ALOT.I definetly..recommend
