Lay's Classic Potato Chips, 15.25 oz Bag

As the saying goes, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it', and that's what I say about Lays Classic chips. They have the same satisfying taste I've appreciated for years, and they're not too salty or greasy. I buy the Dill Pickle flavored ones occasionally because I love dill pickles. I am more of a salt than a sweets person. I rarely talk about the increased price of everything these days, as it is redundant.

Even name brand chips can be over fried but with these it's not very often. These are my fave potato chip. Probably a little too salty but I like salt so it's ok by me. Also they are on the thin side and there are a bunch of chips in to bag that are folded over which makes them perfect for the dip I make at home. Nice potato flavor too. I don't buy any other chip but buy them more when Walmart reduces the price!

These chips are just like the pictures. Nice crispy texture. Bags are usually in good condition and don't have a bunch of broken chips. Not stale either. These chips while they are plain, go so well with other things. I love to use them like lettuce on a sandwich. My husband loves them with dip. I do wish the bags were bigger like they used to be. Price is the same, you just get less.

This time the quality was much better than the last few times I had bought this Lay's original potato chips. It was very bad, and I was afraid that they were trying to use substandard quality potatoes, and oils, even the packaging was sub it's usual packaging! I am glad to have tried it one more time before abandoning The Brand for Good!

Lay's has not only changed the bags they come in, but they have in some way changed the chip. I don't know if they cook them differently now or if they use a different oil. But they need to go back to the original Lay's chip. They are much too crunchy now and they have much less taste. I need a new snack. Until then, I'm stuck with these.

I used to love these, and for the price its fine when I just want a cheap bag, or like I did yesterday to bring to the beach, but the taste and crunch to it is noticably different. And they taste so bland (yes im aware its original but they used to taste like something)

I've been buying lays original chips for many many years. Recently, the quality control, perhaps shipping conditions, have resulted in me getting bags of chips that are Basically just shards of chips not whole chips that I would serve at a meal or to company.. Not acceptable.

We have pretty much stopped buying Lays classic potato chips for several reasons. At first the price skyrocketed and we just quit buying them in favor of a cheaper brand. When the prices of Lays classic came down, in our opinion so did the quality. The size of the bag came down, the taste became bland, they just don't taste like Lays potato chips anymore. That pretty much says it all.

Lays potato chips are great. This delivery brought me a bag of crushed chips. Hard to say if they traveled a difficult road or when the chips were being stocked, they were handled roughly or when the chips were packaged for a delivery to me they were put up against some things that crushed them. So I can't fault the delivery which was on time complete but these chips were not as they should have been somewhere along the line of handling they were miss handled.

After an hour delay only half of my items were delivered. Customer service said they could not be redelivered. Even though I paid a delivery fee they would only issue a credit. Now i have to reorder and pay ANOTHER delivery fee and tip. This is the last time I will order from Walmart. What a scam!!!
