Lay's Classic Potato Chips, 8 oz Bag

I mean they're lace potato chips. There's really not a lot to be said about them. They are potatoes that are sliced thinly with salt on them and they are crunchy and when they're on sale it's worth it when they're not on sale. It's not worth it. Very simple.

Lay's Classic chips are a staple in our house and honestly one of those snacks you can never go wrong with. They're perfectly salty, crispy, and so good with sandwiches, burgers, or just by themselves. Definitely a classic chip for a reason! My only complaint is I wish the bag had more chips and less air in it lol.

Lay's potato chips are honestly my go-to chips for pretty much anything. Whether I'm just snacking, making a sandwich, or putting something out for dipping, these always hit the spot. They have that perfect crunch and just the right amount of salt - not too overpowering, but enough to keep you reaching for more. I also like that the ingredients are simple, and the chips are usually fresh and consistent from bag to bag. They hold up well with dips and don't break apart easily, which is a big plus. The family-size bags are great for sharing (or not, no judgement), and they're easy to find at a good price. Definitely not the healthiest option, but if you're looking for a classic chip that tastes good every time, this is it.

Lays chips are a hit every time. Just the right amount of salt, the right amount of crunch, fresh every time, and at the right price. Granted, if you are health conscious, do not put this is your snack pile all the time due to the salty most of us crave.

What can I say...Lay's are the gold standard of chips! They are salty, crispy and taste fantastic. Cons-the prices are high but they always have sales so that helps. Also, half the bag is filled with air so your chips won't be crushed when you get them. Less product in bag but at least they are intact. Kind of a "catch-22" in the long run.

I used to love these, and for the price its fine when I just want a cheap bag, or like I did yesterday to bring to the beach, but the taste and crunch to it is noticably different. And they taste so bland (yes im aware its original but they used to taste like something)

My suggestion to order fillers, when a customer's order is being filled please act with care and always pull from the back. Because the items that are pooled from the back to the front are always not the freshest. i realized stocking has to be in order But courtesy goes a long ways.

They're icky. Ever since Frito Lay started printing “new bag same price” or “new lower price” on the bags the chips got gross. Maybe I am being overly harsh. If I had never tried them before I wouldn't like them but I wouldn't call them gross. They taste like Aldi chips. Not bad but not exactly right, you know?

For the first time we had Lay's Classic Potato Chips, 8 oz Bag that was stale. Not just a little stale either. The expiration date marked is days from now. The package wasn't broken open prior, nor were the chips crushed... they were just badly staled. Worst part it isn't worth taking it back to the store because it's difficult for us to travel, so we're just out the cash for it.

These USED to be great chips. I stopped buying them because they almost always come broken up. I gave them more chances as I figured maybe, somehow, they get broken in the shipping process. So, I kept trying. However, this last bag did it for me. ALL of the chips were broken, couldn't fine ONE whole chip in the bag. The bottom half was more like pulverized. The pieces that had some shape to them were small, almost like they are using the baby potatoes, maybe the ones that got rejected for bagging. I salvaged the somewhat bigger pieces and threw the rest away as I don't like eating chip dust. I will go back to buying the R brand, at least they are whole pieces. Will NOT buy Lays brand again.
