Original Lays in the bright yellow packaging.

Flo May 20, 2026

Love the chips, hate the new packaging. The bright yellow packaging suited the chip the best. When you bite into a Classic Lay's potato chip it is like stepping into sunshine. I'm 76 years old and I can't eat that left over turkey sandwich without the original Lays potato chips in the bright yellow packaging. Please don't take away the sunshine.

Chips or Crisps?

Ed May 15, 2026

Well, if you're reading this, I must say I'm a bit surprised. By this time, the entire world has tasted, loved, and overeaten billions of these beauties. So what's left to say? That they're perfect? That nobody can eat just one? They're not the healthiest snack out there, but who're we kidding? These babies are perfection. And don't let nobody from Britain tell you they're crisps, cause they ain't! They're chips! And fries are fries, they ain't chips! So if you've never had fish and chips before, be advised that you won't get fish and potato chips, but fish and French fries. Which is what you want. So I guess we found something Lay's potato chips doesn't go with. But they're perfect with a sandwich. Or just by themselves. But I'd definitely go with fries over chips to go with a hamburger. For sure. So it's ok to order a burger and chips in England.

I used to buy GV. chips until they changed them to incredibly hard. The Lays are just as I remember when I was a kid. My Dad worked as a Lay's potato chip man! He had his own route %26 delivery/sales!! Best chips on earth and now affordable in the "CLASSIC CHIP" THANK GOD!! LOVE THEM!!

The Chips That Will Never Let You Down

Darlene March 31, 2026

Hello everyone! 🤗 I'm back! I'm here to tell you that nothing has changed! My Lay's Classic Potato chips 13oz. is still %231 in my book! The taste is still unbelievable, the freshness of the chip just draws you in to put your hand in that bag to try one! Then your eyes will widen and a smile will come on your face saying, one just won't do!!!!! Then it's on!!! you can't stop eating them!!! That hint of salt added to the freshness of those Lay's chips is to die for! You just can't put them down!!! So I say why should I? Go on and buy 'um, you ll be extremely glad you did, I'm ALWAYS GLAD that I do!! Until we meet again, Happy Lay's eating!! Bye

Lays are the King of Chips. Light and crispy. I splurge on Lays occasionally because Great Value brand is good but not great. Last couple bags I had of Great Value had lots of chips with black spots. You'd think machines would carve out all the bad black spots on the potatoes before they go into the fryer. C'mon Walmart! You can do better.

Best “Tater Chip” Ever!

Cynthia April 16, 2026

Who doesn't love a chip? These are Lay's regular (plain) potato chips. They are salted. But the fresh crispness is what sells me on them. They're not covered in any other flavor additive. Just a simple fried potato chip. And this big bag is perfect for family movie night, or gatherings. Enough for the crowd! Kids love them too! I give them a five star rating, and a big thumbs up! I highly recommend them!

Super salty chips but still crunchy

Cindy May 16, 2026

athese chips were nicely crunchy, but the bag was crushed quite a bit. i found them to be very very salty. That made them almost not edible for even people that like them salty. I'm not sure if the chips were crushed prior to grocery picker or if it came up on delivery with the driver.

Inconsistent quality of chips in bag.

Joan April 13, 2026

Some bags are filled with small or broken chips, hardly “party” appropriate. Other bags have wonderfully large chips in the top half of the bag. Difference doesn't seem related to handling but to small chips that were originally put in the bag at manufacturing.

I love lays but

Sharon April 12, 2026

Have you ever watched the chips being stocked? They stuff as many bags in as they can by pushing them in at the bottom as tight as they can get them. Consequently they make potato chip crumbs out of them. You can't use them for dip because they are so small.

Last night at 8pm I rescheduled my order for today at 12 and as I see it says it is still in progress and that my scheduled order was cancelled. I would like for someone t\o get back to me on this complaint. I have had other issues but in good faith continued to shop wit your company but I see it was a mistake
