Lay's Kettle Cooked Original Potato Chips, 8.5 Oz.

Our trip to Walmart was accented by the 'arrival' of our 3 month old grandson(2nd) and our 'regular'-3 to be Jack. It was a short trip--if Gramps and I had been in a pit crew we would have finished the car and cleaned the garage! We stocked up. I threw my diet,5 lbs lost (probably) and my 'routine' out the cozy sliding doors of Walmart.I bought Walmart muffins, one Payday bar, Hidden Valley Dip mix and Lay's Kettle Cooked Original Chips. OH the delight! I haven't had a chip in two weeks--well, I had a couple;) but not like these. I'd never tried these,I've been 'planted' (no pun) in my potato chip ways. These chips are crunchy,crackly but they held up well with the Hidden Valley Dip. I did restrain myself and save the dip for Saturday.These taste light, I know they aren't (in calorie count) --if cans of those revolting (to me) 'air' chips were in my pantry they'd grow artificial roots--CHIPS are CHIPS. Lay's Kettle Cooked Original Chips are salty (not overdone) slightly browned,fried,dunked,GOOD and truly original. I should think 'outside the bag' more often! But not too often...:)Thank you. If it was up to me this wouldn't even have one star! This bag of chips costed over $20! Outrageously overpriced! This has to be a mistake! Don't buy!
