I recently purchased these chips on line; I was quite surprised that they were not all broken or in crumbs! The bag is filled with large chips that are made for dippin' which I like very much and they were packed in a separate box from my other items I ordered, which I appreciated very much. These chips have just the right amount of salt on them. I've found "MY" chip at last. Thanks Walmart and LAYS.
I absolutely love these chips. Even tho they're "litely salted", they still taste salty since the salt is on top of the chip. They're crisp and everything you could want in a chip for far less sodium - tho you don't miss it with these!
Love these chips! Original flavor Lays is way too salty for me, but these are just the right amount of salt. Can't quit eating these!
I am on a lower salt regimen, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE potato chips. So when I cannot resist the craving anymore I get these potato chips. Unless you are a total salt freak, you may not even realize they are lightly salted. They taste just as good as the regular chips (even better, in my opinion because of the less salt component). This is the way the snack food manufacturers should be headed for all of us - much healthier with less salt1
Although chips are loaded with salt, these are not. It taste good, light and fresh.
I feel that regular Lays chips are far too salty. These are much better. You can taste the salt; it's not like they are bland, but it is less than the over-salted regular variety. Otherwise they are pretty much the same thing. I have purchased these directly from several grocery stores, and also online from Walmart, and I haven't noticed any difference in breakage percentages whether I order online or pick them up from the store myself. The breakage percentage with these actually seems to me to be a bit less than with the standard Lays variety, but of course you still end up with broken bits at the bottom of the bag. I personally find these useful for adding to various other recipes so that's not a big deal.
Chips arrived in broken bag and chips all over the box, had to throw them away. Waste of money.
Love these reduced salt chips, but 2 bags came open in shipping. The other 2 were stale. Don't buy them online.
9.5 oz to 7.75 oz same price bag is smaller...really
