These are the wavy chips. They are thicker than the regular chips so you can load them up with french onion dip. They are crispy and salty by themselves, but that's just a darn good but naked chip. In the wild, you never see these without some type of dip to go with them. It is one of my top tier foods on my food square, not a pyramid, but a large square of comfort foods across the top .
Lays chips are always great no matter what flavor After reviewing my order I had ordered a white onion but received a onion with outer skin as brown.. I was charged for a white onion. Not sure if onion I received is the same price… it's okay and I will use it .Thank You
Lay's Wavy Potato Chips are a tasty all around snack. The wave and texture provide the perfect scoop for savory dips or spicy salsa. Whether served next to a sandwich, added to casseroles, or eaten straight from the bag, Lay's Wavy Potato Chips are a versatile, uniquely delicious, beloved snack food.
All I know is someone at the Lays factory is going to jail because every bag I get of these wavy lays is perfect. There are big, salty like I like them, crunchy and super fresh. My bag always seems to be full and not many broken chips. The chip gods always seem to be in my favor. I know they are plain but Wavy Lays are KING!
Now these potato chips are one of a kind they are so good so fresh so wonderful so tasty. They are lays wavy. I get wavy too. I waved people cause I'm so happy over these tips so try them and you will love them.
You really can't go wrong with Lay's Wavy Original. They have the perfect, sturdy crunch that holds up amazingly well against thick dips like French onion or spinach dip without breaking. They aren't overly greasy, and the salt level is usually just right. The only reason I'm knocking off one star is the shrinking bag sizes over the years, though catching them on rollback for $2.50 definitely helps make it a better value. Still a pantry staple for movie nights and BBQs!
I know, Lays are the big name, and I actually bright these when the GV Rippled chips were not available. Of course I ate them, but I honestly want the FC chips for better tats and certain;y lower price! But price aside, I really do prefer the last of the GV chips.
The taste and texture of this chip is great, however, there were so many large black spots on at least 40% of the chips. I could not serve them to guests. The price keeps going up and where is the quality control? This used to be my favorite chip to serve with dip recipes because they wouldn't break. The black spots arranged from medium size 2, very large, which indicates poor quality potatoes are being used. I'm hopeful it was just one bag that was inferior, but I'm kind of seeing a pattern. as the Saint Brand, classic potato chips had the same problem a few weeks ago. I'll try each one more time and if they are still full of black spots, I'll need to find a new brand of chips for my family.
For the money this package is barely filled. Not happy with the soy in the ingredients. Don't taste like potato chips, they are crunchy enough but super light and not filling at all. sorry, was not impressed, this type of chip in a can is more filling and better flavored, and at a better price point.
These chips are definitely not worth the money. they're overpriced. I wouldn't pay more than $2 for a bag of chips. if everyone would just stop buying Potato Chips until they reduced the price, they would reduce the price.
