Lay's Wavy Potato Chips, Hickory BBQ Flavor, 7.5 oz Bag

I purchased Lay's Wavy Hickory BBQ Potato Chips under the assumption that a 7.5 oz bag would contain a reasonable amount of chips. This assumption was based on flawed mathematics. The chips themselves are phenomenal. They're perfectly crunchy, heavily seasoned, and wavy enough to hold an impressive amount of BBQ flavor in every bite. Each chip tastes like it attended a backyard cookout and came back with stories. The problem is the bag size. Not the physical bag. The concept of the bag. The chips are so good that the moment I open it, a countdown begins. I tell myself I'll have a handful or two and save the rest for later. Then suddenly I'm staring at the bottom of the bag like an archaeologist discovering the ruins of a once-great civilization. I don't even remember eating most of them. One minute the bag is full. The next minute I'm shaking it upside down over my mouth trying to collect the seasoning dust like it's rare treasure. The wavy texture is outstanding. These chips have more structural integrity than some of the roads in my neighborhood. You can dip them, stack them, or simply eat them by the handful with complete confidence. My family made the mistake of asking if I was willing to share. I was willing. The chips were not. Five stars for flavor. Five stars for crunch. Five stars for seasoning. Zero stars for the completely unrealistic notion that 7.5 ounces constitutes a sufficient quantity of Hickory BBQ chips. Lay's needs to start selling these in bags approximately the size of a sleeping bag. Until then, I will continue buying them and acting shocked every single time they disappear. 🥔😂🏆🔥📦

Lay's Wavy Hickory BBQ Flavored Potato Chips are seriously delicious! 🥔🔥 The wavy texture gives them the perfect crunch, and the smoky BBQ flavor has just the right balance of sweet and savory. I love that the seasoning is flavorful without completely overpowering the potato. They're great for snacking on their own, serving at a party, or pairing with a sandwich. Once you open the bag, it's definitely hard to eat just one!

I purchase this particular flavor of Lays for my sons. They prefer this flavor of bbq over regular bbq. If you want a different bbq flavor, try this one. Who knows you might like these also.

If you love the taste of barbecue like I do these are perfect if you love the taste of a crunchy chip like I do these are perfect so you get the flavor of barbecue in a crispy chip and when you dip it, it is perfection. These are the best chips ever.

some people may think how many different kinds of barbecue chips do you need, but those of us who like barbecue chips say there's never enough. this is another lays variety of barbecue chuck that I do enjoy. obviously you can never beat the classic, but it's nice to have a different choice from time to time

These chips are crispy, wavy, and packed with smoky BBQ flavor. The perfect balance of savory and sweet, and great for snacking or sharing. Definitely a favorite!

Wife and I have been eating these chips pretty regularly as a side item with sandwiches, etc. We like the taste and the chips seem pretty large and unbroken (a big issue for my dainty wife, though I'll just upend the bag for the bottom brokens).

I liked these but I wished it didn't have a tang taste like vinegar or at least tone it down. Maybe a little more hickory taste. At first I put a chip in my mouth and my taste bud puckered after that I kind of got use to the taste but could still taste the vinegar taste. But I rated it a 4 star because it's not bad.

These have a tomato %26 smoky flavor with some spice (not hot) to them, but I would not call them Bar-B-Que flavor at all. I live in Texas and have been raised on b-b-q and this is definitely not that.

These are disappointing to say the least. I got these as a substitute for the Ruffles Smokehouse BBQ chips and they are not even close in comparison. The barbecue flavor is very lacking, even the color of the chips indicate that there's little to no BBQ seasoning on them at all. They almost taste like a regular potato chip with just a slight hint of barbecue and it's not a good barbecue flavor either. A good barbecue chip has an even balance of saltiness and sweetness but these are just salty, no sweetness what's so ever. I would definitely go with Ruffles Smokehouse BBQ chips or even the Great Value wavy barbecue chips and skip these all together.
