These are room darkening which is what I was looking for. The only issue I had with installation was that the screws provided were cheap and kept stripping- but I may have had the wrong size bit- not a professional over here. I had some screws that I reused and the blinds are up and look great.
I'm very happy I purchased these. I got a quote from a local window treatment guy to put up blinds on my porch at my seasonal camp and he wanted something like $3000. My girlfriend and I bought 8 of these for $400 and installed them in about three hours saved ourselves over $2500. They look really nice and it was quite easy.
they are easy to install but easier if you can have another person help. They are exactly the width they say so i probably should have gotten the ones that were a 1/2 inch narrower to make the install a little easier. But they JUST fit and I think they look great, especially for the reasonable price!!
Excellent quality and incredible size range to get the perfect fit. By far the best price and broadest size selection I have found. Very happy with this purchase! If you compare pricing, you know these are at least half the price of other retailers, and again, the size selection is outstanding!
Looked for shades for our kitchen/dining area for awhile but prices were very high. More wide bamboo slats than some of the other shades we looked at, but for the cost and durability we are very pleased!
THE BLINDS WERE SIMPLE AND EASY TO INSTALL. THEY WERE USED IN A BAY WINDOW AND THEY FIT AND LOOK BEAUTIFUL. I WILL BE USING THESE BLINDS IN OTHER AREAS OF THE HOUSE.
I'm thrilled with these blinds. The quality is superb and they exceeded my expectations. I purchased one blind to see if I would like it before I redo all the windows in my house. My next order will be a haul. They look amazing on the windows.
The blinds are super simple the only complaint I have is the hanging brackets have the mounting screw wielded into the bracket. If you need to use a drill driver they may strip the screw. You may need to use a manual screwdriver.
These are great shades. Easy to install and Look really good. They are room darkening, which I wanted. No cord is nice, just push up from the bottom to raise.
Arrived quickly. I ordered the size that was exact to my window size but it was too big. I reordered he next size down and it fit. It's very heavy to install and a little difficult to instal as well. Opening and closing is a little tough because of the weight but it's doable. I'm comparing this to the solar shades we have in another room. It has an odor to it but only up close. It is pretty.
