This trash can is If you're looking for a large-capacity trash can that doesn't look like an eyesore, this 21-gallon stainless steel model strikes a solid balance between function and style. First, the size is a standout feature. At 21 gallons, it easily handles high-traffic areas-busy kitchens, offices, or even small commercial spaces-without needing constant emptying. That alone makes it a practical upgrade from standard 10-13 gallon cans. The stainless steel construction gives it a clean, modern appearance that fits well with most décor. It also re : rust and holds up well over time. Fingerprints can can show depending on the finish, but many models include a smudge-resistant coating that helps keep it looking presentable with minimal effort.
I got this on clearance and it is awesome! Looks so much better than the one I had before. It was a great buy!
The trash can was just the right size, I didn't have to bend down to put my trash in. The stainless steel silver looks clean. Very little to put together once you receive it. Happy I ordered the right trash can.
I love if your hands are filled you don't have to touch the trashcan at all. The lid automatically opens. It's censored for your hand. The lid automatically closes. You're never touching the trashcan. Absolutely love it.
It's actually a beautiful color %26 design in person. Holds well. Only reason I took off 1 star is the lid situation- one positive though is you can move the sensor up or down (less traffic)- the lid just recently started making the sounds but not moving like it's supposed to when I hover over the sensor to open it. It says not to force close it, but sometimes I have to force open it. Could be dirt stuck or from the kids messing with it too much or even the batteries going low, but I've only been using it for about a month. So that's a little concerning. I do love that it has the ability to hide your trash bag and even holds it when it gets full (still working through the regular size trash bags)— so the fact it holds the weight of that says a lot to me.
I don't understand why trashcans are so expensive and I was weary buying this one for $74, but it was a Christmas gift. I spent the extra money to have more gallon space and I am happy I did. I was surprised by how tall it was. I'm giving 3 stars because even though I like it and am keeping it, I was disappointed in the quality. It is thin metal, almost like I could have made it myself. Personally, I would stick with a cheap plastic trashcan, but my mother wanted a stainless steel new one, and it is good enough to keep, but would not spend a single dollar more on it. It is about double the size (tall) of the 13 gallon $50 one, which I returned because of how silly small it was.
Big and tall , nice but came to me with a dent :-(
I had to return for a refund because the battery compartment did not come with the black cap to keep the batteries inside. I waited forever for it to arrive took it out of the box said it all up and couldn't even use it. Now mailing it back they have received it for over five days and I still haven't received a refund.
I love it in the beginning because I love the look and it being automatic. Did not notice the dents until the next day so it came dented. It was hard taking the trash bag out which bent can more and the top broke within a month.
Item was damaged once my mom opened it on Christmas automatic trash can
