I bought the T14s to replace a T470s that I had had for 5 years because the warranty was ending and the T470s even with an i7 processor did not meet the system requirements to run Windows 11. Also keep in mind that the gen 2 is the last version that has the classic ThinkPad keyboard that so many people like. I am very happy with my purchase.

Never been an apple guy, but this is my first Lenovo and I'm really happy with the quality and thoughtfulness behind the design of the machine. My favorite details are the processor and the fact that it stops charging when full even if left plugged in, to protect the battery lifespan.

I was previously using a HP for my personal laptop but the battery life just wasn't cutting it for me and I had battery related issues within the warranty period. Using my ThinkPad became a 180 change. I didn't have to worry about not carrying my charger around everywhere, it had way more storage space, and just ultimately made my life easier. I loved it so much I replaced my personal HP with my own Lenovo.

I've definitely appreciated the slim profile and light weight combined with much improved speed over my last laptop. Plus, because Lenovo puts their laptops through military-grade testing, I can be sure that my laptop will perform well no matter where I am. That's important to me since I'm an avid traveler and have been known to use my computer everywhere from a snowy campsite in the States to a sandy desert in Egypt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Thinkpad hits all my requirements and exceeded my expectations in several areas: lightweight, fast, easy set up, and the great Thinkpad keyboard. Two areas of concern: Lenovo and windows updates took hours to install and the Ethernet port required a small adapter which I bought by mistake and ended up needing it. Overall, after the hours of setup, it is working wonderfully.

Sometime after installing a game it will crash when opened or runs poorly but its usually problem solved by just restarting the laptop. Plenty of storage and comfortable size for using on your lap or tabletop. Touch screen is nice and responsive but sometimes my usb mouse stops working but its old so it may be the mouse not the usb port.
