I bought the T14s to replace a T470s that I had had for 5 years because the warranty was ending and the T470s even with an i7 processor did not meet the system requirements to run Windows 11. Also keep in mind that the gen 2 is the last version that has the classic ThinkPad keyboard that so many people like. I am very happy with my purchase.

DEFINATELY RECOMMENDED if you want to save some $ and get the high-end experience.

Using the touchscreen is convenient at times, but I tend to use mouse/keyboard mostly. It's been running smooth with no noticeable OS issues. Currently running a dual boot with Ubuntu and it works great!

Although I'm not a Road Warrior, I like high quality tools which will be dependable and serve me a long time. The ThinkPad rose to the top in my research, and it hasn't disappointed. Getting one was the challenge, but after finally speaking to a true professional in the sales department, I learned that I could get EXACTY what I wanted, just with an aluminum case instead of carbon. As a bonus, I got the next generation processor! This is a SWEET laptop. I'm an amputee, so weight is a consideration and this is easy for me to carry on crutches. The screen is bright and extremely clear, the facial recognition works like a charm and the battery life exceeds my expectations. I see a docking station and connection to my home monitors in my future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An excellent - though, not perfect - laptop for my (computer professional) needs: does all my jobs well: fast, with a large RAM and a large SSD disk, reasonably long-life battery, and a good size screen while keeping it all reasonably light. There were some minor hiccups (e.g., my office software was not installed correctly when I received it), but the Lenovo Support staff took care of them fairly quickly. Overall, an excellent, well-balanced laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ThinkPads aren't as flashy looking on the outside as some other options on the market today, but they are extremely functional. I've definitely appreciated the slim profile and light weight combined with much improved speed over my last laptop. Plus, because Lenovo puts their laptops through military-grade testing, I can be sure that my laptop will perform well no matter where I am. That's important to me since I'm an avid traveler and have been known to use my computer everywhere from a snowy campsite in the States to a sandy desert in Egypt.

Its capabilities match those of larger, bulkier devices. You can easily carry it throughout the office and take it back home while still running resource intensive programs on it. The battery life is also respectable- I find myself able to work unplugged for nearly an entire day. That it charges via USB-C is a major plus to the convenience.

Runs all the software just as well or better! Very glad I ran across this opportunity. And the payment plan is easy and affordable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice computer, not super fast to be brand new... my old Lenovo Think Pad with SSD disk is actually faster. The most annoying thing is that ports are being changed so Ethernet cable needs an adapter in order to be plugged in and not enough USB ports to connect to monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer etc. Wireless is out of the question because of sensitivity for EMF, everything has to be wired.
