Best mashed potatoes of all the frozen dinners, meat loaf is great too. I'm a senior and don't cook much because of my back so I eat a lot of frozen dinners - so far, I love this one, wish the quantity was larger, but it's good I spose that it isn't because I'd eat a bucket of these mashed potatoes, they are so delicious! Try it, you'll love it!
This Lean Cuisine makes a good Sunday lunch or a hearty meal after a long day at work. There's an adequate dose of daily protein along with good tasting food in this meal. Just add a pat of butter to the mashed potatoes and a dab of worcheshire sauce to the meat. Wa la! Who doesn't like a great meal? Bonapetit!
I'm an older gal, so I grew up on a lot of meat and potatoes. My mom always made meatloaf too, and so I'm pretty partial to it, and I'm also very picky. I would say this was pretty tasty, in fact I have bought a couple more since. The tomato sauce that comes with it is so nice. and the potatoes are very fluffy. it's on my save list!
This Lean Cuisine meal was very tasty. The mashed potatoes did not have that frozen taste. I really enjoyed them. The Salisbury was great. I bought another brand of frozen dinners and they did not have the same rating. Next time I'm only buying Lean Cuisine.
This Lean Cuisine is very tasty. It has 20 grams of protein and even though it looks small it really fills you up. I always add vegetables that I had cooked the day before, like broccoli and spinach and add it to the mashed potatoes, which are excellent. You're getting lots of protein and the green vegetables added will keep your potassium at a good level. Try this little dinner and you will see how filling it is. It's so good!
I really like Lean Cuisine meals this one seems like a small potion it could be a little larger. But, it has a good flavor they call the sauce a gravy but, its more like a thin tomato sauce/gravy. Its pretty good. The potatoes need a little salt and pepper but, for microwave potatoes they are good too.
There is more meat in this than fillers! Perfectly seasoned...the way meatloaf should be! The potatoes are NOT powered either!...They taste fresh like homemade! Generous portions on both the meat and potatoes...with the " just perfect " amount of gravy. Not salty like alot of boxed dinners. Low calorie content is an added plus!
thia is a solid good value dinner meal. I add a bag of steamed broccoli and califlower. it makes for a good dinner meal for less than 400 calories. The meatloaf is food tasting but the potatoes seem to burn if you don't stir them while cooking. All on all its a good fast dinner when you watching calories.
I eat way too many microwavable ready to eat meals. Typically, they sacrifice healthiness for quickness. Many, if not most, are high in salt, fat, and sugar in order to come up with some measure of tastefulness. It doesn't seem to matter which brand you choose, and I've tried several meal loaf meals, they become more useful than delicious. I make better meat loaf meals, but I just don't have the time nor inclination to do so anymore. Living alone contributes to this problem, yet I have an elderly neighbor who cooks large meals for herself for several days. Me? I reach into the freezer and grab a heat%26eat box of ground beef, turkey, or chicken. Kind of boring. But, heck, it's quick! I recommend it, but for me, it's just 3 stars.
Stouffer's frozen dinners keep shrinking in size. They already were too small to satisfy anyone's appetite. Now they have gotten so small that they are just laughable. I have bought Stouffer's frozen meals for years but I'm done with their nonsense. Buy a different brand or freeze your own meals but don't waste your money on Stouffers.
