I was surprised at how "home-made" these tasted. The cheese was amazing for a frozen dinner. As usual the saturated fat and sodium need to be considered when buying these, and of course use them in moderation as a convenience food only. But WOW! I was not expecting such a rich cheesy taste and texture!
I've been eating Lean Cuisine's off and on for over 40 years, through the years I've experienced the product changes, as well as my favorites. Overall this Mac %26 Cheese is pretty good. Portion size is small but that's the idea, smaller portions = fewer calories. Perfect for a quick meal.
AMAZING!!! N IF, u r ok with adding a Cpl slivers (I use a potato peeler) of sharp cheddar, it's INCREDIBLE!!! Even just 2 lil slivers makes it so cheesy n perfect! N omg! ITS SO FILLING!!! Seems like barely anything. But when u start eating u feel round HALF gone! It's impressive! Just make sure u take laxatives….at least for me, i cld eat all the forms and combos of Mac n cuz DAILY! So, while dieting at least, a lil help in the potty dept is necessary. ;)
Being a person who really loves macaroni and cheese, but also being a person who is trying to watch my weight and calorie intake, this mac %26 cheese is pretty darn decent. I consider my diet closer to vegetarian than not, and I avoid dairy when I can, so this is a treat for me once in a while.
This is easy to prepare. The cheese and pasta have a great taste and a pleasant texture. The portion is very small, and the shallow plastic tray is thin/flimsy. It's disposable, but if you're not careful, you may end up spilling half of your lunch. The portion is probably fine as a small lunch, but I don't see it as a full dinner for most days.
Wife says: One of my favorite LC dinners. I like to let it sit for a bit after cooking, the texture is better. I love the taste, needs a bit of pepper and I'm full.
DID NOT RECEIVE TO EVEN REVIEW. GOES TO SHOW THAT YOUR PEOPLE WHO PICK PRODUCT %26 DELIVER DON'T REALLY CHECK FOR THE PRODUCT. .I AM VERY BUZY %26 MOST THE TIMES. I JUST SKIM OVER MY LIST. YOU SHOULD PUT A PRINT OUR OF WHAT PEOPLE ARE TO RECEIVE WITH THEILR ORDER. I HAD ORDERS LAST YEAR A BOX OF HEAVY DUTY PLASTIC BAGS LIKE CONSTRUCTION %26 RECEIVVED AN APRON. BECAUSE I DOMOST OF MY SHOPING ON LINE. I AM UNABLE TO DISPUTE SUCH PROBLEMS.
This was HORRIBLE! The cheese sauce is grainy and mealy. Not smooth and creamy as you would expect with mac and cheese. After a few bites, we both looked at one another and tossed them out. These were "911" meals for when we didn't feel like cooking. I'm glad we didn't more of them!
Will not buy again. It has 780mg of sodium --not good for high blood pressure. Instead I could buy a good sharp cheddar cheese and grate two ounces on a cup of macaroni and be extremely happy--plus two ounce of cheese has 240mg of sodium. I will stick to the healthier Tortilla Crusted Fish which has good flavor and 440mg sodium.
Might be the worst Mac n cheese I've ever had. Spent over $2 for only half of the container to be filled. Is Frito Lays the parent company or something? Where's the rest of the Mac n cheese? All of the orange/red box products I tried were filled half-way with the most bland tasting food I've had in a long time. Shame on this company.
