LeapFrog LF815-2HD WiFi High Definition Baby Surveillance Camera with Display Video Monitor

We have been searching for months for a monitor with 2 cameras and app connectivity. Surprisingly, these 2 features are really hard to find. When we found this leap frog monitor and saw how highly rated it was, we knew we wanted to give it a try. We've had it a few days and so far we LOVE IT. For some reason, good quality monitors are hard to come by. But this one seems to be really good. It is ready to use almost immediately out of the box, is very user-friendly, and the picture quality is amazing. If there were one thing I would change, if would be that the camera could pan at all times. But it's so great in other ways that I'm willing to forgo this feature. Hoping my love for this monitor continues for the next few years that I plan to use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I love this camera! It comes with two monitors so I don't have to carry one from room to room. It also has a night light and color night vision! What more can you ask for!

I wanted to like this a lot, but ended up returning and buying the same Hello Baby monitor I used for my first. Pros: night light options are nice, was nice there is the option for split screen between the two cameras, the option of wi-fi/app or just closed monitor was really nice - can just use as a normal monitor and use wifi for babysitters or whatever. Cons: noises and music are pretty jarring and not relaxing (white noise was high pitched but ok, and water sounds were tolerable. Not nearly as good sound quality as the Hatch), you cannot pan and tilt the camera like Hello Baby monitor - all you can do is zoom. Finally what decided it for me was the lag on the camera. It was so choppy! For example, with Hello Baby monitor I could see when my son stood up and leaned over the railing and fell out of his bed, where with this monitor I would've seen him stand and then him on the floor next and not known how it happened. The picture is clear but the lag makes it so you can't watch their breathing or little nuances. And this was with monitor and camera in same room, so good connection. If you don't need high detail, and you're not picky with sounds this could be a great monitor. But the cons outweighed the pros for me.

I've purchased this two separate times. The first time one of the cameras had clearly been dropped at it was loose and could hear something rattle inside (it stopped working after a week). The second box, both cameras and monitor have to constantly be reconnected to my WiFi, a problem the one working camera from the first box never had. I don't even know if it's worth trying a third time.

Would not connect to parent monitor. Tried directly, with Wi-Fi. Was able to connect one camera with the app on my phone but the other would not connect. Spent hours trying to trouble shoot.
