It is the perfect activity to talk to young children about feelings! It is a wonderful resource. Every time my 3 and 5 year old grandsons play with it we have conversations about things that have happened and it helps them process their feelings.

I added this set to the sensory area of my classroom, and even without direct instruction, it was a fantastic resource for independent exploration. The children were able to engage with the materials on their own, becoming familiar with the different pieces and displays of emotion. It serves as an excellent tool for helping students recognize various feelings and supports them in developing healthy emotional regulation skills. Highly recommended for any early learning environment.

This is a fun and engaging resource to help my autistic son identify and understand emotions. He's doing a much better job using these figurines to describe how he's feeling and has fun copying their facial expressions. Highly recommend to help with those big feelings and as a tool to help children on the spectrum.
