Learning Resources Beaker Creatures Alien Experiment Lab - 18 Pieces Boys and Girls Ages 5, 6, 7+ Science Toys, Science Kit for Kids

I loved this toy. It's good to develop skills to children. I bought it for my grandson, he is excited and happy.

This was the perfect gift for our granddaughter that loves experimenting

Nearly every child loves to feel like a scientist, and if we encourage that desire who knows what they will grow up to do! That is why I love this set. It lets the kids play scientist and have to discovery fun along the way. The kids can make their own dough to play with, they can make slime, and fizzy pods. The little ones are going to love playing with this and I am going to love watching their imagination take them places and do things beyond possibilities. I may need to get a couple more of these just to make sure there is enough to go around and have a science day with the wee ones!

The due date is approaching and I need something to keep my neohews and myself busy. This will be perfect for a good chunk of time plus they can play with the stuff after we find the creatures. This whole setup is adorable and I can't wait to play with it!

This science kit will keep your little ones occupied for hours, although I do feel that it should be for a little older age group. I had my two grandkids for this, but without my daughter helping them, it would have been a disaster. There are a lot of small items in this kit and a lot of projects. I believe they did 3 of them, which they thoroughly enjoyed and kept them occupied for at least a couple of hours. This can get messy, so find somewhere that you don't mind getting a mess on. The handle that comes with it is our only complaint, it won't stay on the container, my daughter finally gave up and just used her hands and a paper towel.

Our 7 year old absolutely LOVED this kit. It’s sturdy, it’s fun, and it’s educational. The whole ‘reveal a toy’ idea is a huge hit with young kids and this kit has combined the fun of the reveal with science experiments. The booklet is very easy to read and follow the instructions and with a few common household supplies like food coloring, glue, baking soda, you can create more experiments. This is just so fun and such a great gift. My only complaint is that I’d love to see items like this use less packaging. The box is twice the size that it needs to be and there is no reason for them to need to make you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth with a bigger box because you really are getting your money's worth. It’s a small complaint and a truly great toy. They recommend ages 5 and up and with parental help I’m sure a 5 year old could handle this but our 7 year old could do this alone and had no problem following the instructions.

The Learning Resources beaker creatures alien experiment lab is a lot of fun. I homeschool and I enjoy having hands on experiments for the kids to do. They had a blast watching their characters be revealed. They loved using all the tools that came in the kit. The kit comes with two pods that you get to reveal creatures in. It also comes with a booklet that list several other experiments you can use the kit to do and a list of ingredients you need to complete them. The tools include a creature mold, pod maker, slime extruder, a beaker with grabber tool, and a slime station. We really did enjoy the kit. The only thing holding me back from giving it five stars is that I wish it would have included more of the ingredients to complete more of the experiments. However, most of the extra ingredients for other experiments are simple household items. Overall, I still would recommend this kit.

This will be exciting for someone interested in science at early age. It is mainly just equipment and recipes on how to make experiments. It comes with 2 aliens. The aliens ate in dissolving eggs which was fun to see what came out. But the are many many more aliens you can get separate and collect them all. It is for 5 and up and easy to follow instructions on making the experiments. I do think this is a good starting point for young kids. All the equipment is plastic no breakage and easy to clean after all the fun. I do wish it had came with at least one put together experiment but it could be hours of fun for kids that are at a stage they can do it all themselves. Like I say great starting pack for someone interested in making and science.

Well this set includes only 2 egg shaped items that are supposed to dissolve in water so that you can take a tiny toy from them. Everything else that’s listed on the box it doesn’t include! So basically there’s just a brochure with recipes for slime and nothing being included. I didn’t understand the point of this set. Not fun at all if i have to buy additional ingredients to create something. Why do i need to buy this kit then?

This Alien Lab Science Kit doesn't come with anything to make anything, except plastic parts to mix in or mold. There are 2 bath bomb type egg shaped pods that come with little surprises inside and that's it. It had a booklet of things you can make and instructions on how to but why not add something they can make? Had I known I would need glue and cornstarch and conditioner amongst other things I would have gotten them before I gave to my son. Very anticlimactic. It could have atleast come with little pouches of stuff to make atleast one thing.
