My 1st grade students use it during math centers and it reinforces subitizing on the ten frame. They are able to play as a game and guess what's on the ten frame. It also helps them to learn the various ways to make ten. It is also very durable so I will be able to use it for many years.
The connecting ten-frames are a great way to teach students how to make tens and place value. Kids love to use manipulatives when learning and these are just an awesome way to teach so many very important math skills.
I love the ability to use them as 10 frames or five frames as well as connecting multiple frames together for bigger numbers.

My students are thriving and counting in different ways with this hands on 10 frame trays that you can connect to make into larger numbers for counting and understanding better of what numbers look like and how to count them my kindergarteners are loving it
I received this product as part of an incentivized review program. I liked how the chips were in two colors. This really helped the students see how much they were adding or taking away. The ten frames were easily falling apart during our activities. I would like to see them be more stable. Overall the product was useful during math stations.
